I think it's a reasonable prediction that the next of the series will happen chronologically after 7 Days A Skeptic, likely shortly after,
OR, less likely,
will be before 5 Days A Skeptic so as to enhance the character of Tribly.

Focusing on the first, we know the following:
  • Trib launched the Idol into space.
  • ----If the Idol fell into human hands, it could kill again.
  • ----If the Idol were to be destroyed, it would assist in the summoning of Chzo, "God" of Pain.
  • The main character of 7DAS threw the idol into the exhaust of the spaceship he was stationed on, destroying it.
  • It is reasonable to assume that there still exists followers of Chzo in the time period of 7DAS.

One could then, venturing into further unstable territory, assume that:
  • It will involve a descendant(s) of the O'Malley line and/or of the Professor.
  • The plot line will focus moreso on the followers of Chzo and less-so on character development.
  • It will most likely take place on Earth, or a fragment thereof.
  • ----The stump will likely be seen as a requirement or assistant to any such ceremony.
  • ----A wartorn earth, a meteorite earth, and other interesting possibilities exist.
  • ----It is possible that the stump could be yanked out of it's original location and replanted elsewhere, but this may be seen as a desecration by the followers of Chzo unless the remainder of the tree was in extreme danger.
  • It is reasonable to assume that the Tall Man will make a appearance.
Go on.

TRILBY. For god's sake it's TRILBY. Tee Are Eye Ell Bee Why. Like the hat. Like the Du Maurier play. Tribly and Tribby aren't anything except perhaps affectionate nicknames for the small furry creatures from Star Trek.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Man, I was going to comment about them spelling the name wrong. I guess you stole my thunder. You gits.

But yeah, continuity-wise, I think it's logical for us to assume that it'll be post-7DAS, although I for one would not mind seeing a pre-5DAS game where Trillbee was just stealing for his own gain. I can't get enough of the dry humour that comes from that kind of scenario.

This is what us kids call 'post-apocalyptic'.

But Trilby dies in "Trilby's Notes." So there wouldn't be a Trilby game because he's dead.

Um...did you actually watch the entire end?

Besides, if you've played 7 Days a Skeptic, you should know he can't have died.

I don't think there's much sense in speculating where and when and how the next Trilby-game will take place, since probably not even Yahtzee has a clear idea about it himself (yet).

I'm insulted that you think I'm retarded enough to spell Trilby three different ways in one post unintentionally.

He'd have to be pretty damn desperate to look for ideas on these forums.

Not really. The key to good business is to give the consumers what they want.
