Based off of what Yoda stated at the very end of ROTS of Qui-Gon
learning immortality, if Qui-Gon was the first then why didn't he disappear?
If was never explained in AOTC or ROTS, it appeared to have been glossed over
like a mere afterthought at the end of Episode 3. Does anyone know why Yoda and
Kenobi vanished but not Qui-Gon?
And if it had to be taught then how did Anakin learn?

It DOES sound like bullshit - the Jedi believe, apparently, that death is just part of the life cycle, so why WOULDN'T they go on to become one with the Force? Yoda tells Anakin this when Anakin seeks his advice, concerning his death visions of "someone he knows."
So, why the path to immortality bit, when it was more or less established by Yoda himself, that after death, people become "one with the Force."
I don't remember the quote exactly.
PLEASE don't make me borrow my brother's RotS disk!
P.S. Notice the irony in Revenge of the Sith being "rots" in abbreviation? I think it sums up GL's brain perfectly with regards to the PT

Yes, you become one with the Force automatically if you are a Jedi. But you have to make a conscious effort and have a certain ability to actually manifest yourself through spirit as you were when you were a human; to give guidance to your friends.
Naaaw. George Lucas is just an idiot.
