Hey all, I just wanted to pose the question if anyone here is/has been a fan of Howard Stern? I've been a fan for a long time myself, moreso since he has gone over to Sirius. His content, although typically more explicit, is far better than it was on terrestrial radio and he has an entire can & crew now on his two Sirius channels that make for endless entertainment.

Fan or not, tell us what you think cool.gif

Honestly, he never really interested me, and I thought a good deal of his entire act was saying words like "boobs" and "masturbation" on the radio when we were still moving into our present sex-crazed culture where anything goes anywhere, as long as it has a thin veil.

I've not heard him recently, though, so I can't make any judgements on the Sirius stuff.

I never heard much of him but I thought of the name "Stubborn Stern."

I used to listen to him on the way to school, but only cause there's never any good music on in the mornings.

I use to record the music and shows years ago. Now I wish I had the tapes to playback. Yet they say it is not good to look back.

Actually, Detroit has this classic rock station that pretty much plays Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd all day, as well as all the other greatest rock and roll bands EVER. But, you don’t really get much greater than Zeppelin and Floyd. But alas, the morning is always cluttered with those stupid morning shows. Its a crime really.

What I did was the following: I ripped out the whole K-DST radio station from the game GTA San Andreas, and usually I listen to that instead of real radio. Much better. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Oh you can say that out loud. Although GTA:SA's radio stations were pretty weak, compared to their predecessors.

i ended up making my own SA radio station, with new kindom, cannibal ox, gravediggaz, the judgment night soundtrack, and random industrial rap tracks....

but i would drive around for hours listening to K-JAH just to catch that one song...

gonna put on an iron shirt
and send the devil from the earth
gonna put him in outa space
to find another race

i really need a copy of that song...

They had that one song by the Maytals on there too, but I can't remember the name.
"It's gettin' to be re-goddamn-diculous. If you guys don't start thinking as men, we're gonna have a lousy country."
