It's possible that this thread won't survive the first hour if the moderators get pissed off at me, but I think it'd be a good idea if there was a separate forum where those who have already finished the game can discuss their experiences. Plus, those who shamelessly can't be arsed to figure out the puzzles might also want to post here for help. Others, who are not yet done, should be able to read the other forum without getting all the fun of the game sucked out for them.

It's a bit too late for that... The other thread is already full of spoilers, you know.
I'm hungry.

I haven't read it exactly for THAT particular reason, since I haven't finishet the game yet myself.

Spoilers aren't a problem if you white them out, and even less so if they're camouflaged by quotes. It's just that some people don't use them, or forget that something they know might be a spoiler if someone hasn't played it, like talking about collecting mannequin pieces.

Damn, I'm glad that I was too obsessed with figuring it out on my own before I continued reading...

Anybody gotten a chance to set their computer to May 24th and finish it yet?

Mike: Yahtzee's last adventure game gave a special ending if you played it through to the end while the system clock was set to his birthday.

What was the significance of July 28th?

Exactly, that's what ticked me off a bit. Anyway, I've finished it myself now.
I suggest posting any spoiler-suspicious material here, if you haven't done it on the other thread, because there might still be people who are not finished with it, and still haven't gotten all their fun sucked out of the game by some irresponsible, tactless f*cks.

Now, my fellow players who finished Trilby's Notes, I got a question which I couldn't answer on my own: If Trilbs was so important for the tall guy and his lackeys (he was the Guide), then why does the tall guy attempt to kill him in Siobhan's room?

Zazzo: July 28th is the Prince's day.

I'm playing 5DAS again right now, just for kicks. Couldn't help but notice that Matthew's birthday is the 28th of June, not July. The diaries of Sir Roderick and Matthew also indicate that John DeFoe was killed with the idol on the 28th of June, not July as it should be to maintain continuity in Trilby's Notes... Or am I missing something here?
I'm hungry.

Maybe I got it wrong, and it said the sixth month in the end sequence in TN. I'm just going from the 287 scribbled all over the walls.

No, you didn't get it wrong. I've finished Trilby's Notes too, and it does say July.
