Say Yahtzee, what is the name of that weird palm-tree weapon the Tall Man weilds?
Oh yeah, and here's some fanart for ya:

Thank you, I noticed in the other thread.

It doesn't really have a name. I just thought of it as the tall man's staff.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

This is a spoiler centre, we've all finished the game, so you needn't bother with making spoiler warnings. Anyway, if you're running out of time and still are strong enough not to be able to die, the best idea is to use the spamming method Stalky mentioned a while ago.

No, because you see Selena after you've found her torso. Although Barry is clearly a physical entity.

If I'm to pursue my original idea, it might be just Selena's HEAD... fitted on the body of someone else... As we know, William was quite diligent about this morbid puzzle game...

The reason I think this is a viable idea is because when you get into William's room, you see the head of Selena sitting on a cabinet.

I did try that, but it still wouldn't let me die.

Do I have to die BEFORE he gets to the stump?

Try asking Lenkmann about stuff, try using 'move', anything that would tire Trilby out. When Lenkmann completes the four compass points, you should see something like 'I couldn't even talk any more'. Then the Tall Man arrives, and you can should die between the time he arrives and the time he goes to the stump.

I think it's fine as it is. If someone didn't have a separate, backup saved game before that point, then it's tough shit for them. I think it's kind of obvious you don't overwrite your last SAFE saved game in this kind of situation, especially when you've already realized that in spite of TN being a flashback game, you can die.

I went through the entire game again, and did it right.

Awesome ending.

Leaves a bunch of shit open for the next game.
