I've gotten to the endgame screen, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to survive it. Quite enjoyed it up to this point of frustration. Great atmosphere and growing tension as always!

For some weird reason though, during many points of the game, typing "siobahn" doesn't seem to work when I need to refer to her, but "simone" works. Still doesn't help me escape the ending.

I just finished it. The endgame bit was pretty clever, but not that hard.

Also, for Mr. Yahtzee.....

Great game, well done. Get a better forum.

Also, the game crashed a couple of times when I was trying to use the crowbar on the boards to get into the display room. I can't remember exactly what I said though, and it only happened twice. Apart from that it was bug-free. Cheers. Go and have a drink or something.

This may be the scariest game I have ever played.

I haven't beaten it yet, but I found a crash. At the end of the vision of Mbouta, when you're forced to walk left and die, you're given a quick option to control the character yourself before he's murdered by tall dark and scary. If you force Mbouta back to the right at this time nasty things can happen, resulting in being stuck there forever and the game eventually crashing.

I'm currently trying to work out what has to be done to get through the final scene, but don't worry, I'll figure it out eventually... I hope...

Nice game so far, excellent dialogue and story.

I was jumping at slight creaks outside... at lunchtime. I was half an hour late for work because I wanted to finish it. Holy shit, that was good. Once again, well done Mr Yahtzee. I liked the whole text-input thing, reminds me of those old Hugo games, only it had a good soundtrack. Tell your soundman he done good.

It doesn't look like I'll ever muster the courage to play this game considering all of the 'This is the scariest game I've ever played' comments that I've seen here and on the AGS Forums, but I can't help but feel drawn to it because it's a Yahtzee game. I'm wishing I had never played all those scary adventure games when I was a kid.

Just finished it, love it to death. The story is again the main reason to play. My only complaint is that the puzzles were a bit easy, the only thing I ever had to stop and give thought to was the insects in the basement. Even the ending, which I was expecting to be hard to survive, was solved with but a single command and a bit of waiting.

Now I'm awaiting the next game in the series... what will IT be about... Personally, I am hoping for another one with Trilby, but the way things have gone that doesn't seem likely - the next set of events would have to take place in the future again, wouldn't they?

Call me dumb but I am stuck. It probably has to do with my lack of patience and the terrible fear taking over me everytime I cross a door and find myself wandering the Alternate World (and then take pills like crazy to avoid it happening again just to get a messege saying It Hurts - oh my).

Here goes a bit of spoilery text:
QUOTE
I saw John's vision, took the meat (only God knows what for..so far), used the match and got the crowbar (and got into the room with the bag in the Alternate world but just can't find a way inside in the normal world), saw the altar outside and the broken fence with the recent blood but couldn't do anything there except take a pill to return to the hallway. I also opened the safe to find it empty and I am guessing that's about it. No Siobhan nor an entrance to the fair. The Professor doesn't help much sitting there and the hotel is devoid of life. What to do? What to do?

Great game. As always.
