maybe they'll do a bollywood SW.

and i'm with smashman.... the only reason i didn't pick on any of these faults is because i was adequatley distracted...

perhaps if the AOTC topless masturbation scene had been padme instead of anakin, i might not give a rats ass about all the other crap.

Easy now. That's the Dark Lord of the... never mind.

Did they use that scene in the Brokeback Mountain parody? Maybe they too suppressed the memory I've now recovered. Thanks, Barend.

Scary thoughts. Actually, I just had a funny thought after reading the reference to the sarlaac... but what was Jabba thinking there? He's just tried to get rid of Luke by feeding him to a monster and what does he do? Try to feed him to another monster. He should have just shot him.

No, no, no. There are way more interesting things to do when you're the crime boss of Tatooine.

Bantha hauling
1. Chain victim between four rabid Bantha
2. Release Jedi training remotes in their midst

Tusken Raider Piņata
1. Dress victim in a "I hate Tuskens" t-shirt
2. String victim up on puny humans Moisture Vaporator
3. Scrape up remains in the morning.

What are you trying to say? That Lucas clings to hackneyed story lines? devil.gif
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

more to the point that his influence is rooted more heavily in the 60s batman series than flash gordan or whatever...

like the arena scene in AOTC...
i was totally waiting for the ridler to step out..

Barend, I think it's almost a little disturbing that we need to have a psychology term for it... oh, wouldn't it be great if you stumbled across it in an academic journal?

And HK-47, I take your point. The Tusken Raider Pinata sounds very cool. Although, I take it that you would send one of your grovelling underlings to clean the mess up afterwards.

Unlikely, for Lucas has said time and again that he only has the direct rights to Star Wars (and its merchandise) because he wanted to keep Star Wars as a "quality" name (Nothing to do with the whole, y'know, several billion dollar franchise thing, I'm sure rolleyes.gif ). Because apparently, Lucas is synonomous with quality in everything he does, or uh... Something. huh.gif

After all, if Lucas didn't have all those rights and all that money, there would be horrible things like... Turkish Star Wars.

Fortunately, we have good ole' Uncle George to keep things like that from ever being made.

...Hey, wait...

Ah, reading that page made me chuckle.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Turkish Star Wars, eh? Maybe it will counter the previous, offensive portrayals of Arabs in the SW universe.

i.e.:

It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

Well, if you count "Making people want to carpet bomb Turkey" as "countering", then it succeeds. It succeeds at that very much. biggrin.gif

Or any insert name here villain overconfidence syndrome. How many times have the villainst tried to kill James Bond by either strapping him to a bomb or leaving him to be devoured by sharks or leaving him to freeze to death out in the North Pole instead of just shooting him?
