I myself never thought Leia was funny while saying that. She sounds borderline ridiculous when saying it ... so yeah. I agree.

Yeah, if there is anything lame about ESB, it's the barrage of insults that Han and Leia are trading while they're still on Hoth. For what it's worth, I always thought there was something a bit forced (if not outright lame) about "I'd just as soon kiss a Wookiee."

Romantic dialogue - whether lovey-dovey or playful banter - is not GL's strong suit. Come to that, dialogue of any kind is not GL's strong suit.
