Well, we can be pretty sure it is trilby because on his site the alternate text for the image says "Yes, that is Trilby, by the way." I'm no expert, but that might put it to rest.

I thought it was Inspector Gadget at first, but Trilby's also cool. He does have a few gadgets.

Come on, it's Yahtzee's fault they're whining, he made a teaser instead of surprising us. 
I don't really understand why he keeps doing this, since he himself mentioned he didn't like teasing people because this sort of obligates him to finish projects he might have already lost interest in.
By the way, greetings, ladies and gentlemen, this is the first time I register on a forum, ever. So far I've been content with only reading your high-toned debates without comment, but I couldn't take it any longer! So, here I am, hope we're going to have lots of fun together!

Or maybe he likes to torture us with the wait.
