If i were in the fifties.. oh man! I'd stalk Allen Ginsberg. Hit all the jazz clubs in New York - glorious 52nd Street!! move to Mexico and live like a King on virtually no money at all! and so forth.

ah, america in the 50s. what a boombingly wonderful time. you could enjoy watching 'howdy doody' while eating your lardy cakes and fish custard, the economy was doing well from all the spoils and lost life from WW2 and women would stay at home hooked on halcion to illeviate the loss of dildos from catalogs ('cause christians had finnally figured out what they were for and had them removed), which were there to releive doctors of manually 'releiving women' of stress caused by thier husbands' inability to satisfy them in bed because explicit porn was not available to help educate people in the art of baconmaking.

simpler times, *sigh* simpler times...

geez, don't be so cynical about the past. looking back now and not concentrating on pop culture will reveal a time of great social upheavel (or the blossoming thereof) and .... progress?

I admit defeat.

But it can be drugged!

I think there's a message in that for all of us...
