Prologue: 5 years earlier…
A grim look crossed Borenko’s face as he stared into the forest. This was it, this is what he had been fighting for since day one, where he failed before, but this time he will succeed.
Beyond the darkness of the threes there was an army, an army 15,000 strong, the world’s coalition. Borenko had been waiting for this for a long time, all his energy was put into this, all his time was put into this. Borenko’s officers stood behind him, loyal beyond belief, if he told them to shoot themselves, they’d do it without hesitation.
Borenko always went first into every fight and got out last in every battle, he never surrendered, not even when things were hopeless, that state of mind cost him his right leg, right arm and right eye which he lost due to a mine. Borenko was given the best medical treatment of modern times, giving him mechanical parts to replace the old, including a state of the art artificial eye.
Borenko always wore his combat uniform, even when going to sleep and only took it off to shower, while wearing his uniform he always wore a long black glove to cover-up his arm and an eye patch to cover up his eye. He has a thick long moustache and long hair that he always lets loose, all in all a very dark character, but with an image that bleeds respect. Every negotiation Borenko ever had with an enemy resulted in either Borenko winning or walking away in which case he won his enemy on the battlefield. All was great until the UN realised how much of a threat Borenko was, so they sent 15,000 men to combat his 2,500.
Borenko has fought against harder odds but this time they had something he could not match against, something that will be his downfall. That’s at least what Borenko thought, he knew they wouldn’t send such few men to combat him unless they had a good plan and some kind of secret weapon. He was going to investigate, him and 2 of his finest men were going to do a recognisance mission, to give them an idea of what their up against and wether they have a chance or not at defeating it.
“Alright, Mishka, Damoslav, let’s go!”
Off they went, into the unknown…
