I'm just watching Jerry Maguire... gee, he is a good actor sometimes. And he even manages to make it seem like he's not that stupid in some movies... still... 's creepy...

Other than that I can pretty much get along with anyone ;)

No way, I was never really that big of a Tom Cruise fan, but the first MI movie completely confirmed it for me. They should have called it Tom Cruise The Movie because it was all about him and they completely ruined the franchise of MI for me personally. The sequels are just Tom Cruise 2 and Tom Cruise 3 as far as I am concerned. MI is about a team of agents not just one guy with an ego the size of the planet.

MI: 2 was bad in my opinion so I entered the cinema reluctantly, but the 3rd one was really good. Phillip Seymour Hoffman gave a great perfomance and the plot was good. The movie isn't all about Tom Cruise, but also about his team. However, it has some flaws of course...

There were supposed to be other people in it? Tom Cruise is the only person I remember.

The first one was crap, I haven't seen the second one, but I hear the new one ought to be quite good.

Nah. James Bond movies are about Bond seducing chicks and using his gadgets to deafeat weir ultra-evil villains.

M:I movies are about a team of spies using ultra-expensive gadgets to infiltrate places.

But Bond is better. smile.gif

Yes, This is exactly what I'm saying and why the whole franchise was ruined for me after the 1st movie! I got into Mission Impossible from the updated tv show in the mid to late 80's and then I started watching reruns of the original series on tv and both versions were really awesome. Then Paramount goes and stars Tom Cruise in their big budget movie version and it was suddenly no longer about a team of agents, but just him as the lone agent. About the only thing that I liked about the first movie was the updated theme song, so I never went to see the 2nd movie, nor will I go to see this 3rd one - and I probably won't ever see them unless someone I know owns it and makes me watch them against my will.
