All right, mate - I think I've found it. Have a look here.

It's a Style D poster and it matches your description perfectly. Unfortunately, this particular scan of it has the site's logo over it but at least you hopefully know what you're looking for now.

ESB Poster

Look at the bottom left. Strange, isnt it?
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

Ah well. I'm sure you'll find it eventually.

And... er, yeah. I just had a look at the bottom left of that other poster. I'm assuming that's supposed to be Luke running away from an AT-AT on a tauntaun... if that even is a taun taun. Maybe it's a collage of concept art perhaps but it's pretty damn weird.

Could you imagine fighting AT-ATs on a Taun-Taun? If history serves me correct, it would be like the Italians versus the Ethopians in 1935. The Italians basically bombed the crap out of the Ethopian equine calvary.
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.

That's very similar to an early McQuarrie concept drawing. Don't think it was supposed to be Luke, just a rebel soldier during the battle. The TaunTaun in that version seems to be a carnivore.

EXTERIOR: PLAIN OF HOTH -- DAY

A small figure gallops across the windswept ice slope. The
bundled rider is mounted on a large gray snow lizard[u], a
Tauntaun. Curving plumes of snow rise from beneath the
speeding paws of the two-legged beast.
The rider gallops up a slope and reins his lizard to a
stop.

In that Star Wars Universe book by Kevin J. Anderson, it explains that there were natural ice caverns under the snow, and this is where the taun tauns lived, and the light that filtered through grew the fungus/vegetation/something under there (acted like a solar panel would, trappng the heat, I guess) and the taun tauns lived in the caverns and ate the fungavegesomething, and of course, the Wampas preyed on them.

Taun Taun... Jar Jar... Lucas is more like Hughes than we know, constantly repeating himself...

And just for the record, Kevin J. Anderson is as big a hack as Lucas is... so I wouldn't take anything he says onboard. You need to bear in mind, that dickhead wrote some story where the one-armed wampa takes a spaceship off Hoth and leads an army of wampas to take revenge against Luke. I'm a little fuzzy on the details though as I had the memory almost completely suppressed.

WHHAAAAAAAAA!!!!????

Are you $#^#$ing kidding me!!???

I knew KJA was bad, but I didn't realize THAT bad! Do you get the feeling that KJA might have been an uncredited writer of TPM? I've had this feeling for some time, but sometimes it seems like his fingerprints are all over it... or at least Lucas looked at his shit rather going back to the original films for "reference?"

I lost faith is Star Wars authors after I found out Dash Rendar was on Hoth. And then I read some other book about a weird cult whose leader uses telekinesis to make SW people feel happy. It was complete bullsh! I forget the name of that book though.

blink.gif Dear God, it's even worse than I had imagined.

However, if you think that's bad, just take a look at the books by Paul Davids. Actually, I see the point Chefelf's making in that thread: it does sound like a parody. The problem with that is that because Lucas can't be bothered to check over all the crap these hack writers are spewing out, all this stuff technically counts as official canon. wacko.gif Is it any wonder so many people just ignore Lucasfilms and pick and choose their own 'canon' as they like it?

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.
