At the end of this, it mentions the battle scene with wookies who as I quote McCallum "were cast locally in Sydney". They're not CGI! Of course then it goes on to Greivous, but it says they built a model of him too, so who knows. Maybe he actually is going to less CGI this time. Or maybe my sickness is just really getting to me tonight.

Too little, too late. CGI or no, why put Wookies in this film. They have NOTHING to do with the history of the PT. They have had NO integral role up until this point. It's all about making ties as quickly and frantically as possible to lend credence to the PT by borrowing from the OT rather than either generating credence on its own merits or by starting with elements of the OT from the very start.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

he may not be using fake wookies...
but they'll be damned if they're going to build a single set!!!
QUOTE (the article @ that dumb site)
McCallum says that a small unit is scheduled for a very brief stint of bluescreen Wookiee action this May in Sydney, Australia. As most of the background Wookiees to be seen in Episode III were cast locally in Sydney, it makes sense to keep it "local."
but they'll be damned if they're going to build a single set!!!

Well, its now official. There is no hope. Before there was a small chance, but now there is none.
If you go to this link http://www.starwars..../bts/me3/1.html You will hear George Lucas admitted, that while the set design was 80% completed, (Along with the costumes, casting of characters and creature design) He still did not have a script written.
Just click the link and watch the small movie. At one point during the segment, George walks into a room, and announces "I got the first official rough draft in my hand, there's a lot of cheating in it, a lot of 'he fights, she fights' stuff".
Rick McCallum at one point says "we have so little to work with week by week". He is referring to the script I think. Rick was Careful to add after the comment "but its enough for now".
I find it just hilarious, that the whole movie is practically done, and the tool-moron
has yet to make a script!
I don't know much about film, but I always thought that scripts were supposed to be written way in advance.
George's dilemma is not unlike writing an English report 1 day before it's due. You always hold it off because English is easy, and the reports are always simple. You have the over all idea in your head, all you need to do now is just put it on paper. Well that was my mind set in Highschool, and as a result I got 68% in english 9,10,and 11. (did better in 12 )
George has fallen into the same ordeal. The idea's have been in his head maybe for the past 30 years, but he did not write and fine tune the script early enough. He fell for the oldest self-deceiving trap in the world.
"oh this?, this is easy, I got the overall Idea. All I need to do now is put it on paper, no problem"

Wow. I can't believe he didn't approve that horrible idea for Anakin to look like a biker. Hearing him say "it's too much" is the first good decision I've seen him make in so long.
I like how Ewan MacGregor (as they were applying dye to make him have streaks of gray hair) says: "It's only been TWO years since the last film? Wow, it must've been a hell of a two years."

Well, despite the quality of the movies, I think the Star Wars web docs and making-of videos are always very well-done and interesting, moreso than most other behind-the-scenes for other movies. Lucas actually seems, well, human in the web docs lol, and all the actors seem cool too (of course McGregor's always great). BTW there's a second web doc out called One World, Two Movies, also interesting. I also can't believe how good Hayden and Ewan are at fighting, they really look like professionals they're fabulous.

Well in a lot of his interviews he's just seemed very wooden to me, no real emotion except for certain cases, unlike the web docs. And by "human" I also meant that he seems like he actually cares for his work, like he's excited about it. The same goes for the Episode II commentary and its behind-the-scene clips, he just seems like a cool guy when he's working. Makes me think there's more to him than money. Kinda like Han Solo. Only fatter and uglier. And much less cool.

Yeah he definitely does seem rather uninterested. He's probably sick of getting asked the same dumbass questions about Star Wars for the past 27 years. He seemed a little more lively in that video.
