Yup. Who needs the welcome thread, when you have "What made your parents horny?"

I forgot to mention other events, the nearest one to my birthday was actually

September 5 - U.S. President George Bush holds up a bag of cocaine purchased across the street at Lafayette Park in his first televised speech to the nation.

September 10 - The Hungarian government opens the country's western borders to refugees from the German Democratic Republic.

September 21 - Hurricane Hugo makes landfall in South Carolina, causing 7 billion dollars in damage.

my birthday: 5th march 1987

So in June 1986 we have:

June 4 - Jonathan Pollard pleads guilty to espionage for selling top secret United States military intelligence to Israel.

June 8 - Former United Nations Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim is elected president of Austria.

Funnily enough my father is Kurt Waldheim. See a pattern?

My birthday was March 4, 1982.
So, if we go aprox 9 months back of that, my parents were either turned on by John Paull II getting shot, or by Bobby Unser winning Indianapolis 500 for the third time. Or maybe they were turned on by 800 deads when seven coaches of a train fell off the tracks into some river in India.

I think no one has beaten hornyness by 800 deads in this thread yet...

Which might not be too long from now, considering how young the computer users are these days.
Ah, I feel so old.

It's not acting, it's feeling. Boys and girls nowadays act like they were in their twenties, something that when I was 8 or 10 years younger I never thought could be. Same with the looks (and I guess, especially with looks).
The funny thing is that I know people on their thirties that act and look like their in their twenties, too. So I guess the real 20-something people feel this way because we see our age slot being stolen by the rest of the people (those bastards! tongue.gif).

Turned 17 on Sunday. What made my parents horny, you ask?

June 28, 1988 - Four workers asphyxiated at a metal-plating plant in Auburn, Indiana, in the worst confined-space industrial accident in US history.

Why are all our parents so turned on by death, destruction and/or politics?
