I'm watching the latest episode, taped from the other night. Did anyone else see this? Lenny's plasma big screen? (chirping crickets)

I paused but had to post. I'm only 35% the way through, but it's really good so far. Repeatedly self-paradying; with that live-action version of the opening sequence you might have heard about. smile.gif Or maybe it's gotten too stale for you? I'm just suggesting you give it another chance.

I'll agree that the show isn't as consistent as it once was (and that was an incredible standard at one time). I'd just like to credit a great episode, one of at least a couple, in the last month or so.

But if I change my mind by the end of the viewing, I'll let you know.

And yes, anyone can post on how lame it's become.
I'd like to see people enjoying it again, so I'm doing what I can.

there have been too many clip shows and they seem to have forgotten how to end an episode properly, but they've been good to us.

I saw an episode last night that I have seen before, but I still found it extremely humorous. It was from 2002 and it still made me laugh out loud on a number of occasions. I didn’t think that would have been possible from any episode later than 98ish.

Yeah, I still love the Simpsons. The quality has decreased a little in my opinion, but it's still funny.

You mean Itchy and Scratchy?

In Mexico they're called Tommy and Daly.

For me, the Simpsons unfortunately went the same route as SW, DOWN! Love the old stuff, get irritated with the new stuff.

Love the title of this post, Burns -- "Ahh if it isnt the Simps."
Smithers -- "Thats Simpson, sir"
Homer-- "Dont worry the names not important."
It seems like everyone is over the nitpicking. Too bad.
