No-flag mild surpriser! It's like a shocker, but I'm not usually shocked.

No flags on me!.

I just thought you'd be interested.

Or not.

You know, making this topic seemed like a good idea at the time. I don't really have an opinion about it at the time.

That’s pretty fucked up they cant fly the American flag at school. I’d kick the shit out of someone if I was there.

And as for those kids that ran out of that school in Arizona, took the American flag down and put up the Mexican flag, those little fuckers can go back to Mexico if they hate it here so bad. Don’t get me wrong, I think immigration is great, but have some goddamn respect for the country your immigrating to. And if you don’t like it, get to steppin.

I agree. Now, I'm not as patriotic COBNAT thinks you are, or even you actually are, but I'd have to agree. It IS an American school. You SHOULD be able to fly the American flag at an AMERICAN SCHOOL.

We were forced to say the pledge in my school.

This has GOT to be an April Fool's joke. Student's protesting something like this, and on a Saturday?

Nothing, at least that I've seen. Nobody ever got forced to say it in school. Good thing too cause I'd probably would have beat the crap out of anybody who didnt. Course that was back in the 80s. People were a lot more patriotic back then. There werent a bunch of libs running amuck trying to impeach the pres and what have you.

I'm thinking that if you live in America, you should be allowed to fly the American flag. Not because of patriotism, just because of plain common sense, since its America. You may substitute the word "America" for any other country, and it still holds true.

I'll elaborate more once I work out what the hell I'm talking about.

Judging by her rabid nationist outburst earlier, I'd say yes. tongue.gif

But... I don't say it every day.

Shit.

I mean, why do I have to pledge alleigiance EVERY day? I'm an American, but I figure once a month is all I need. I don't pledge alleigiance, or love, or anything to anything else every day. The way I see it, if the government doesn't feel I'm being loyal if I don't do it every day, then it doesn't need my loyalty.

I think we only said it on Fridays. I just mean if any little 6thgraders refused to say it just because they wanted to be little hippies, I probably would have kicked their ass during recess. I guess I should have been more specific.

Well, hippies have thier good attributes too. Like their tree hugging ability and their pot growing/smoking skills. But other than that...
