what' really annoying...

(some kind of phillipino soup BTW)

is that my thread were i did the LOTR/SW comparrison was a real waste of time...

WHY because prequel lovers are a waste of fucking time.

jesus christ, you say you don't like something, they ask you why or intercept you discussing with those who agree with you then feel it their god given duty to argue everything then fail to supply with addequate reason to so...

i'm running out of energy.... i keep repeating myself because people just aren't getting it throught repressive shells...

'no it rocks it are a good story bcasue his mother dies so he go evil'

no fucking understanding at all...

i waste my time explaining it to people then i have to put up with people who are far to below the intellectual ladder to get what i'm saying...

they accuse me of the same to try and feel better and claim we provide no evidence... but it's they who don't. NEVER...

you type and type and type and get the lamest defence and realized you've wasted alot of good time on people who CHOOSE TO BELIEVE they saw some some awsome films...

fuck it honestly...

love your films but i'm sick cloutless contradiction...

HA! I love comments like this. Brilliant.

Heres a brief summary of the last 10 years of PT 'discussion':

Gusher: Hey Basher, you just don't get it, STUPID!

i knew you were going to say that....

typical...

except it's been more like this:

Gusher: "so.... what'd you think."
Basher: "Bit of a dissapointment to be honest"
Gusher: "WHAT?!?! IT WAS AWSOME!!! YOUR A IDIOT!!!"
Basher: "If you say so..."
Gusher: "WHY DIDN'T YOU LIKE IT???"
Basher: *20 minute verbal essay* "...and that's just for starters."
Gusher: "ITS LUCAS FILM, HE's COLL YOU JUST DON"T GET IT STUPID!!!!"
Basher: "What? i just explained it to you point by point how can you not get it?"
*back and forth insults*
Basher: "YOU JUST DON"T GET IT STUPID!!!!"

so you're right... but you left out a fair bit and over simplified the depressing complexity of the situation.

Nah... usually barend's exchange was a little more accurate.

I mean I enjoyed the PT as childish high-school plays, but nothing more. I would NEVER touch a single frame of the OT.

I still like my version better.

It doesn't seem quite so...biased.

Of all the forums I've been too, I've seen barend's exchange quite a lot.

But I have seen yours, jariten, on IMDB.com quite a lot, too.

jar, the reason you like your version better is because you'd like to believe, or were at least trying to be diplomatic, that there are two sides to this that struggle to empathise with the others angle.

however, this is not really the way the situation is. I DO understand where you are comming from, and i understand were the gushers are comming from (note i mention you seperatley).

i know why people think these films are good, but in the way people choose to attack my discontent, which is rightfully none of their business. i don't go up and insult people when i overhear tham talking about how much they love the PT. and it took years of explaining before i resorted to 'you just don't get it'... whereas that's almost always a gushers opening argument. That and; "no, it is good"

i'm sorry but i haven't exactly found my self on a great debating platform being challanged but the great minds of the world on this one...
99.99% of arguments on this topic have been imature contradictions, over-researched obscurites from officially redundified and superseded material, and notions that the most important thing in film making is impressive FX, and the general acceptance that someone saying; "you're breaking my heart" is in anyway proper character development.

my version of the state of affairs was more than generously diplomatic to such an extent that it was practically bias in favour of the gushers!
