I am a new member, your latest game has forced me to join. I love your games and take on storytelling. Not that I'm a rabid fan, but your latest game, 1213, fascinated me. I love the story and the concept, the gameplay was awesome as well. I played flashback on the Sega cd back in the day, that shit was awesome. The ending made me drop my jaw. Cudos on having the balls to not go with a classic sappy happy ending.
Now let me get to why I am writing. I have been thinking about trying to shoot a movie. Albeit I have no experience in movie making I am a writer. You'll have to pardon any problems in the grammar, I am tired and writing on a laptop. Damn small keyboard..
Anyway, I know you copyright your games, yet I was wondering if I could take a crack at making a film translation. You might not see this as a good idea. I could offer you royalties, but its not really about money. It gives you a chance to get your games more recognition and players, and me a chance to finally do something I've wanted to for a long time, make a movie. In short it furthers both our crafts.

Possibly. I'm not ruling out that sad truth, but at the same time I admit its my first attempt. I don't claim to be any Quentin Tarentino, but I would like a try. Truth be told, the perfect movie would be one that had no words. If the images are supposed to tell a story then that should be all, everything else is mind candy.
I don't want to make a silent movie, a corny movie, a fan movie, I would just like the opportunity to try something new. A side-scrolling shooter/suspense thriller/tragedy made with an adventure game system was something new. I respect that. So why is a movie based on a freeware game anymore unheard of?
