Oh, in that case, let me make this statement in a stereotypical accent:

I VILL look vorward to it.

Sometimes it does, if the person in question decides to skip over to the old pronounciations. Well, I had to use something like that, since "I will look forward to it" lacks those famous ths. *shrugs* Never mind.

The people are different, because of their history. Not quite as outgoing as you'd wish them to be and some still stick to a lot of that GDR junk... less important than the west when it comes to economy... some arguments about payments, but yeah well, it's Germany alright. Quite boring.

Are there any memories of Soviet times? I really like Soviet history.

You wouldn't if you'd lived there.

Not that bad, just boring - every place got it's dark sides, I've just mentioned a few of them, but it's nothing you couldn't handle with a little smile on your face.

Hmm, that somehow sounded a little bit too resignative... wacko.gif

So, do you live out in the country or something, and that’s why you're so bored? Or do you live in a city that doesn’t have anything fun to do?

Half of both. Reaching the next bigger city can be somewhat difficult without a car of your own. And most of the time the parties there tend to be as dull as the people, they just don't really know how to party, if you know what I mean. As if the ministry for state security would still spy on them... wackos...

No. mellow.gif

Unless you mean they don’t partake in recreational narcotics? That, or they listen to smooth jazz.
