Hi all, it's Ree Yees from the Basher's Sanctuary and right now I am so pissed off because of this power-hungry, sad individual known as theforce.net as Strilo.

Ever since he suddenly appeared as a mod (I had never noticed him before), he's been on my back, like a love-sick monkey.

He has banned me several times, MANY times, for reasons he cannot even properly explain himself when I ask why the hell was I banned this time???!!! in the unban request message.

But this time he really went too far. There was a thread in the Star Wars classic trilogy forum about what changes we would like to see in the Star Wars trilogy to make it better fit the prequels (the mere notion in itself could make the universe implode).

I made a remark on behalf of the classic Star Wars films, and it was removed immediately for "baiting and trolling" (while I was being perfectly sincere about my feelings towards further changes in the films), and he banned me for TWO FRICKIN MONTHS.

Does he believe he is Heinrich Himmler or some other Nazi lieutenant?! I just don't get it. What did I ever do to this patethic guy?

Any other people who have had problems with this guy? What is he doing being a moderator anyway?

I've had my share of discussions with other mods, but they have always been understanding. It has been possible to talk to them. Most of them deal with issues without retorting to quick bans without explanations.

But this Strilo guy is just taking out bashers like myself for no other reason than that he has the almighty, God-given power to ban people.

The aggravating thing is that there is nothing I can do about it but whine elsewhere, thus not getting the message across. If I, in two months' time, come back and complain I'll just be banned again.

What is it with theforce.net these days? Have they been threatened by Lucasfilm or something? It has to be, or Strilo is indeed a miserable guy.

Oh, and Chefelf if you need at least 300 more reasons why Revenge of the Sith sucks harder than a medium goat, tell me.

bah, that's gushers for you...

they can't be reasoned with, because they are generally without reason.

they defend films that suck, which is fine by me, but they're films that make other good films suck.

if they were in a room with you they'd put their hands over their ears and yell: "LA LALLAA LAH HAR RAH ALALALALA!!!" like an anoyingly loud retard.

but if they can ban you for not being impressed by pretty colors and explosions they will...

whereas we welcome gushers... and argue with them until we have a stroke. then the thread is usally long gone by the time we get back from the hospital so it doesn't matter anyway...

there are one or two gushers here... worth talking to...
and there arguments are a step above "No you suck!"

but i've met people like that... i find that all forum moderators who enjoy the PT are ass-licking geeks who aren't worth the flesh they're printed on. It's the only authority they have in life and so they execute everylast killojoul of energy they have to make your stay uncomfortable and unmanagable.

but welcome...

Don't feel bad, that's what happens when folks place an immature, small-minded twit in charge. It isn't your fault.

Yeah, Strilo has pissed me off, too. He is awfully heavy handed, even to Bashers in the Sanctuary. And it seems like he rubs his power in our noses. I would think they could've found someone a little more sympathetic towards Bashers. After all, the Gushers have their MORE than sympathetic mods. Mods who are even more egregiously biased than Strilo.

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"

All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

You see? THIS is why I never joined those forums.

That and I don't really like Star Wars.

Whenever I start thinking I’ve reached the top of the dork totem pole, somebody comes a long and reminds me just how mistaken I am.

Of course, I mean dork in the nicest of ways.

More like build up an intelligent, constructive argument for bashers.

and whine for being an over-obsessed Star Wars fan who can't tell difference between good film and bad film for gushers.

Most of the time, anyways.
