Actually I kinda liked the 3rd one, it just that it can't be compared to the masterpieces called the godfather part 1 and 2.

Anywyas, I hated Sofia Coppola's acting. That was what made the movie worse than the first two.

Not at all. Puzo was inspired by "King Lear," but he didn't follow it in plot or execution. Basically all he had was a dying leader and his three children.
