Heccubus.Blog will now moonlight as one of those newfangled "MP3 Blogs" that you've been hearing so much about. Every so often, I will stick up some music for people to check out. Enjoy!

Okay, there are three albums up as of right now for the checking out. I promise that I won't just keep posting spastic hardcore with lots of screaming. Perhaps tomorrow I will post some ambient stuff or something.

Umm... one question before I'll listen into it... is this even legal?

That's debatable. However, Canada's government and recording industry has yet to do anything about file sharing, so it's technically legal for me to post this stuff. Not to mention the fact that I am avoiding major labels altogether. For example, the Holy Molar EP that I posted would not attract anyone's attention that could legally take action. Since it was released on Three One G records, which is in no way affiliated with the RIAA, it would be looked over if anyone actually DID decide to take some action. The only record that could attract some negative attention so far is The Fall Of Troy, which I believe was released on Equal Vision, which recently joined the RIAA's ever-increasing legions.

Neat idea. I'll listen to the music and let you know what I think about the albums.

Podcasting is, for the most part, more hassle than it's worth. And I can't be bothered with setting up an RSS feed. I've yet to really see any reason for it to be a necessity.

I don't really think that Hecc is into being cool as far as other people's standards go.

The Crimson Curse rock my face off, Hecc. Got any more from them?

If you liked them, then just pick up the other Locust-related stuff and you're headed in the right direction. Swing Kids is as close as I can come to offering more Crimson Curse. As it is, it took me literally about a year and a half to track that album down without paying disgusting amounts of money for it.
Also, since posting that record, I have come to the conclusion that the Crimson Curse do not exist anymore. The Three One G records site refers to them in the past tense a lot in their bio, so I'm assuming that they broke up.

Well, one search for The Crimson Curse online returned this website. $10 isn't too bad, but The Greatest Hits is only like 20 minutes long.

I've also been downlaoding everything else you put up there, but it takes a while since I'm not a member of Rapidshare...

K'naan is great, but I didn't like Holy Molar or Some Girls that much. I might warm up to them later, though.
