Did Plageuis Create Anakin or was it the Force? Would this not be a contradiction.

Anakin didn't just dissappear either. He and Qui-Gon were burned, if I remember it right.

It is believed that Anakin may have disappeared offscreen and that Luke
only burns Vaders armor. This still doesn't answer the question of how Qui-Gon
learned this in the afterlife.

Yeah, and it's also believed that there is a god.
Qui-Gon's been described as focused on some other things, but not the here and now. He's learned it during his stay among the living, now get over it.

To bad you can't prove that. Had he learned it while alive he probaby
would have disappeared, not to mention other Prequel lovers would argue that
he learned it after his death. I would believe that Anakin probably disappeared offscreen
before I think Qui-Gon was the first Jedi to know this trick in the history of the Order, not
to mention he wasn't even seen as such in the Prequels. Face it, Lucas put it in as
an after-thought because it wasn't a priority to him. There is no point to futher rationalize
this. And there is nothing to get over.

Now wouldn't that be a plot hole? Learning the nice shiny-ghost efffect after he died? Wouldn't he have to be a ghost or some other form of consciousness to do that?

Really? rolleyes.gif Of course he would! and thats were they are wrong
of course you can simply say he learned it prior, which makes more sense.
Its not like he was seen throughout the remaining episodes, and as I stated before
it was only put in as an after-thought, because Lucas had to wrap things up. It was
just lazy storytelling.

True, but doesn't make it less true. People also rationalizes the prequels because they don't want to admit that there is anything inherently wrong with them. sleep.gif

Wow, sorry for making my own personal comment concerning my
personal views on the prequels. I'll be more careful the next time,
since a few people tend to be more sensitive than others.

This is just a theory, so don't accept this as anything other than that.

I personally think Qui-Gon learned it after he died. According to a lot of the newer EU books, when Jedi die, they become one with the Force. I think Qui-Gon was a rogue Jedi, who was on the verge of leaving the Jedi Order because of the millenium old traditions that were in place. When a religion relies too much on tradition, instead of faith, it becomes a burden, rather than a blessing. Qui-Gon may have taken his resentment to the grave with him, but upon becoming one with the Force, he discovered this new power of immortality. While it may be argued whether or not Qui-Gon was the first Jedi to attain immortality, he attained it nonetheless.

I think this Force religion relates a lot to similiar religions on Earth, in which much of the upper echelon of Jedi Masters are so buried in ancient rules and regulations, they are blind to the truth, or the full power of the Light Side of the Force. The SW version of Jedi Hell is reserved for Sith only, while complete enlightenment of the Force allows for immortality. I think there is an afterlife for Jedi that is similiar to Heaven, but in order to achieve pure enlightenment (immortality), one must clear their minds of all ritualistic traditions and burdening rules of the religion itself, and allow the Force to take full control over the spirit.

When Dooku told Obi-Wan, "Qui-Gon would have probably sided with me", he might have... due to the fact that Qui-Gon was taught by Dooku, and Dooku was a rogue himself. Monkey see, monkey do in this case. It makes me wonder if Qui-Gon ever taught Dooku the power of immortality.

When ever I hear the name Panaka, I think of that time when Ace Ventura was bending over in front of that guy who sings Wild Thing, and spreading his butt cheeks so his ass hole could ask for some Banaka.

The Force created Anakin to destroy the Sith and balance the Force.

Thats what happened.

Watch a film called Return of the Jedi if you don't believe me.

Fin.

(that is unless you take the word of the galaxys biggest liar, bad guy and nutjob who would've said whatever it took to get Anakin into his slimy clutches, right Barend?)
