EM: I have obtained what is quite possibly the most awesome lunchbox ever. It's a bento lunchbox, about four by six inches, with two layers, and it is a lovely red with rabbits on it.

I would post a picture, but I lack the capability to get a picture onto the internet, what with my scanner claiming it's hooked up to a PC even though it's not and my computer in league with it claiming it can't connect to the scanner, and my not having the necessary equipment to hook my camera up to my computer.

But it's still awesome. I wasn't sure if I was dreading or looking forward to the start of school, but now I'm looking forward to it just because I'll get to use my awesome lunchbox.

I'm really starting to like Martha better than Rose. She uses her free time a lot more profitably and is a bit less stupid, so it makes more sense when she figures something out.

She can also speak properly, which is nice. Rewatching the previous two seasons makes me shudder every time Rose opens her mouth.

Not her accent, but her mispronunciation. For example, she often says 'f' instead of 'th'. From what I can tell, it isn't a lisp or accent, just lazy pronunciation.

EM: I am in fact NOT in the English Teacher From Hell's class, and my transfer into a different one didn't necessitate my giving up Chinese.

Plus, I'm a fairly long way through Ragtime, the most depressing book I've ever read, but still good, and have finished The Abolition of Man, which I also liked, if only because I admire someone who can turn a gripe about a bad English composition textbook into a description of how science will ultimately DESTROY THE SOUL OF HUMANITY.

I think he left a couple of things out, but overall, he made a good argument.

Then again, I'm just about easily confused enough that if you use enough tricks of language you can make me believe just about anything, but it was undeniably an interesting use of three hours.

Also, I watched The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances with a friend who had never watched them before, which sort of increased the effect on me, and I have something of an adrenaline rush right now.
