Elated Moment: I am up to date of my homework. I have solved a major bug that actually came from the professors' code (I have two for this class) being wrong, and them just not testing it out. Now I can deal with the new things completely exploding for no apparent reason. Yay!

JOY!!!: No cancer!!! And the growth is gone, along with half of my thyroid, and surgery is done and over with, and now all that's left is several days of recovery and feeling slightly crappy. But it's OVER WITH!!! *glee*

Depending on how well the remaining half of my thyroid functions, I may or may not have to take a synthetic thyroid hormone for the rest of my life. Other than that, no, hooray!
And Janey: One of my stories when people ask about the bandage or the incision/scar is going to be "Um, er, uh, I ran into a knife..."
