I finally found a haircut that doesn't make me look ridiculous, and yet is really really short! I don't even have to BRUSH it, because inch and a half long hair doesn't tangle! Yay!

And deepsycher used a smilie. That makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside somehow.

Elated Moment: Mirithorn sent me a pic of the haircut she intends, which was good 'cause I could use a laugh about now.

My hair is about 6-8 inches long now, and it keeps blowing in my eyes. I should probably do something with it.

Okay okay okay, I know I shouldn't double-post. It's vile, it's wretched, it's evil and all that, but Whhhhhhhhhhheeeee! Rejoice, oh restless soul of mine!

I didn't think that I could do it, but I've actually resurrected my lost child as far as I could! And she looks a lot like she used to, before the crash, when times were still sunny and bright... *sigh*... alrighty, she'll need a face now. And more then ever I wish that I could draw backgrounds, but I guess it'll just have to do like this.

But not today, I'm pretty tired right now and good things will come to those who chill and wait.

Edit: Oh oh oh, and I think I finally found a good name for her, too. Golly. happy.gif

Edit Nr. 2: Oh, and she'll get a nice bloom-effect again. Yah, I know, I already overdid that far too often, but meh. happy.gif

EM: I got my hair cut. Not as short as I originally intended to, but still awesome. I got into a big argument with the hairdresser who claimed I was maliciously and inexpertly dying my hair and tried her hardest to talk me out of the haircut, which she did with some success after insisting that there was absolutely no way to cut my hair as short as I wanted it without it being more high maintenence than it was originally. I had to battle for every half inch off, but what finally emerged actually looks quite nice. smile.gif And still doesn't have to be brushed.

EM #2: Seven straight hours of d20 this Friday. It's going to be pretty awesome. And in preparation, I have drawn a portrait of my character, which means that I definitely have less of a life than anyone else who will be participating. Which means I win.

Elated Moment: Last night I watched the latest episode of House, and then Pan's Labyrinth with my girlfriend whilst I'm here in South Carolina. Tonight, we dine on pizza and then get iced cream after she gets done with a group meeting. Today I got to throw and help her with her project while she worked on it in the ceramic studio!

Some ladyfriend of mine just told me that I look cutest (her words, meaning something like: Kick-arse-awesome-whack-yo!) when I put on my puppy-dog-eyes-look.

... I... I don't have a puppy-dog-eyes-look, do I? huh.gif

Well, but just in case, I'll be going round like this today: crying.gif *whimper*

There are some really cool people out and about there and a good few of them frequent this place. I am in a happier state of mind for their being!

Ha! I've won in the war against Vista! Now I really know why I work with all these programmers: Just tell 'em about your problems, and they come up with a hacked and working driver just for you. I really love those guys platonically. wub.gif

Guess the next round's on me then.

I could do with some constructive help from HP. Instead last time I got stuck with a helpdesk Indian who culdn't even speak English clearly and he went off too to get help. Everytime I install the hp2710 drivers I get a headache. The scanner and buttons just stopped working.

Good typical thing just now, it works on Windows Xtra Pretty.
So there isn't a fault.

I got the King's Quest collection! I haven't played these games since the mid / late - nineties, so it brings back a lot of memories. I forgot how easily you can die in these games, though. lol.
