Yup. It's basically taking some educated guesses at the user's input, tries to predict his intentions/motivations and provides alternative solutions by trying to establish a connection to other contents and aims to improve itself to a certain extent by storing acquired data in some very simple version of a neural net.

Another week of drivel over... of saying meaningless things about perspective in lousy fiction to make the teachers happy, of sitting through a class with a hundred students 90% of whom are asleep, eating, or talking to each other, making it hard for the minority of us interested people to know what's going on...

There's too many people going to college these days. None of them give a damn about what they are studying. I go to learn everything, they go to get a sheet of paper saying they graduated.

At least their money goes towards nice buildings for me to sit in.

Yes, I apologize - the post in the complaining thread was because I ate the pomegranate till it was gone, and then it was gone, and I had no more pomegranate. Fortunately, I have three more in the refrigerator! But they're not exactly mine... But my roommate shares, hooray!
