Slade: Hooray for getting glasses fixed! We finally sorted out what was wrong with mine today, too.

The lenses were plastic and did not have any anti scratch coating so it got so dirtier when I tried to clean them.
The good thing is that anybody who does that to me again I will take it as a worse form of insult and cease any trust to deal with them.
It is only recently that I am finding frames that fit from private opticians. I have proper glass but I have a plastic one for outside and for situations incase it falls and shatters. I do notice the vision quality in the glass compared to the plastic ones. The glass seems simpler to clean with hot water compared to stains that are difficult to remove. I thought that anti glare coating on plastic was suppose to correct that.
The street opticians who boasted about their frame collection on television adverts is untrue as most said to me that they only cater for fashion and the mass majority after they did not have the frames I wanted. Any frame that is plastic with long legs and certainly not small for wide angle vision.
One shop worker laughed when I complemented that all her frames were wide screen and that I required pan scan.

I got new glass-es! I got new glass-es! And guess what I se-e?
EVERYTHING! WOOT!
Also, I have rediscovered Ren & Stimpy! I was never allowed to watch it when I was little because my mother thought it was disgusting, but I still remember the earliest episodes from before they banned from my childhood! So I can still quote along with them as I watch!
Happy happy joy joy!

I have high-index plastic lenses. If I had actual glass lenses they'd probably be too heavy to stay on my face without being strapped on somehow. I'm extremely nearsighted (shortsighted/myopic), so anything else would be ridiculously thick and cumbersome.
Of course, they're going to be pretty thick anyway, but unless I can get corrective surgery that's never really going to change.
Elated Moment: My mother and I are going to Eye Masters to bitch at them about not only screwing up the prescription, but for mangling my frames as well, and get the money back for both. That's around three hundred dollars back in the bank.

That’s awesome! I’m so happy for you. One of my cats is also out on an adventure and has been for about a month or so. Do you live in the city or the country. I think mine is in the big woods across the street. There’s at least 20 acres to keep him occupied, but I’m hoping he can find his way home.

Okay, I had very few frames that fitted me. Most kept on falling off my face as the leg size or width was to small. The glass was heavier but when the frame is is accurate I don't have problems of it falling down or hurting my ears.
I like the cats even for their habits of begging for food, I could be with them if they took baths. Maybe if I brought a kitten I could bring it up to like water. A temperature that won't cause shocks.
Years ago three cats use to quarrel outside at nights. Now only the foxes do that on the street.

I mean the parts that go to the ears.
Some frames are not long enough to reach. So to make it bend futher means shorter lengths to the ear. All falls off when looking down.
Some frames are manufactured by the average size so the width was smaller for me. The legs were stretched so that kept sliding off my face. They do this at some opticians who give away second glasses for free. The same opticians I had the first glasses.
Well I had a good time last night with the game play. I might post the picture of the cakes. All hand made at a shop without chemicals and I did not feel ill afterwards. I think it is around $40 for a cake but I think it is worth the money for the quality I am getting. Strawberry mouse cakes with a small slice of jelly ontop and two separate coatings around the sides for the two.
The person who gave me the camera on the pan and tilt unit doesn't know how to connect it up as for no writing on the terminals of circuit board. The pan tilt unit was mains controlled.
He couldn't find much information on their site as it is so old. Many are now wirelessly controlled from inside the camera. He said that the company will only talk to other companies and not individuals for security reasons. Hopefully when I send a picture of it with the details they could give him a manual and I could start on my vision.
Would be a shame to damage that by guessing.

Elated Moment: I've been playing lots of Double Dash with my best friend who lives nearby, and much Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door of late.
