The button is on the nib, you push it down on the monitor.

There is a lead adapter that connects to the graphics card output, the monitor plugs into the adapter. All it does is sends dots to the monitor and the pen picks up the dots to determine the position of the pointer.

It has to make contact with the actual monitor?

I just assumed that you could use a mouse-pad ... That's a bummer.

I like tea but I don't like the effects. I also became addicted to tea until months ago.

Yes, I read that it is convenient for some people who do cad designs. I don't think it is good for tft screens to push down too much on it.

It doesnt need contact on the monitor to move the pointer. It can work 2 inches from the screen, which is why I wished it had side buttons so I don't have to push down on the screen for selecting.

They look like nats or flies to me. So you watch those littles things fly whilst I watch proper birds fly. Magpies.

I have just finished sorting out the case.
Some people don't care or never learn that plastic has limitations. They over use for things that are impracticable. Now I have a slightly broken front case. If the hinges were metal this wouldn't have happened. I have a recollection of everything plastic that shouldn't have broken this way, so annoying.

Is there anything special about it that I am not seeing?

Hehe. I know that feeling, my friend. There was literal skipping for me in the last week of July.

Elated moment: This! Though it's sad that the younger generation isn't going to catch half of what it's about and appealing to. Also, my glasses are finally in! No more contacts potentially screwing up my eyes! Woo!

Well it didn't appeal to me about IBM's Desktar but I am not sure if Hitachi made them. Some years ago I read that they had problems with the heat generated on the glass platters causing the heads to write the information in the wrong places of the drive leading to files being lost.
