That could be one advantage for GPS.
Can see this happening some day, "The system will position the stressed, drunk and stoned round the globe" without any controls needed. Perhaps they can continue living in their phantasy world behind the wheel but without the accident.

Factor in that we had to loop through that conversation about three times, and its a miracle we didn't end up halfway across the country. Thankfully, we managed to work out how you turn left. Then I got hit full pelt in the nose with a frisbee.
