Yes. Except he is no longer Robin, he is "Red Hood", and is out to kill Batman for whatever reason.

Clones...
Why not clone him? Then you could have the good but terribly confused Maceclone, and the unkempt and slightly evil Maceclone, and Goldie the Maceclone who is gruff on the outside but deep inside has a heart of gold. You could have a universe full of Maces. Sweet!
Edit: In the early stories, wasn't Red Hood the Joker before he was dumped in the vat of chemicals?

"Maybe artists shouldn't talk about their art."
"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."
"Izzy! enough with the rabid smootching!!"

Jason Todd is the second Red Hood. Which might point to him being in ca-hoots with the Joker. Batman comics these days are all yacked up. There is no logic to them really.

Not much logic to Star Wars either.
Has anyone read the SW comics? I've flipped through some at the bookstore, and the cover art always looks good. But I also can press my memory to remember when comics were a dime so I don't purchase anymore.

The one that's an adaptation of the Allan Dean Foster novel (which came out shortly after ANH) SPLINTER OF THE MIND'S EYE isn't bad. I read the post Jedi ones with the clone Emperor storyline, and although the artwork was great, I can't remember anything significant that happened years later. I wish i waited for the comic adaptations of the Timothy Zahn trilogy, as the first nook was good but the other two left me feeling disappointed, but they appeared some time after the books were already out.
