I drew a pretty neat wallpaper of the tall man from Trilbys notes, and since probably no one is a bigger fan of the game then those here I thought I'd share it. It's on my internet site, I've got a 1024x768 version and a 1280x1024 version at the bottom of this article I did on my site for fun:5 days article

I did try to get Ben Yahtzee's permission to write an article and host the pictures but I kept getting bounceback emails.

Well, Im working on a 3d version of the Tall Man. As we say in Brazil: Quem viver, verá!
(That who will be alive will see! )

Mr Threepwood - nice drawing! It makes a very cool desktop!

As there is fanwork going on here I also made a tune for the fun of it!

Good work once again, m0ds. I liked the effect made by the theme of the song Piecing It Together mixing with the Dark World-ish elements, which, along with the abruptly ending out-of-tune part nicely emphasize the madness of DeFoe.

Yeah, really nice soundtrack.

If 5DAS were a movie, it would be the soundtrack of the Trilby's nightmares.
If 7DAS were a movie, it would be the soundtrack of the scene when Dr. Somerset finds Chahal's corpse stuck on the radio masts.
If Trilby's notes were a movie, it would be the soundtrack of the scene when the Tall Man "purifies" everyone in the ship.

I'd rename this music to Trilby's nightmare.mp3

Not sure about that, because those scenes are short but very intense (well, maybe except the one with the radio masts), whereas this music is kind of long (well, longer than 1 min), and not very intense, ominous is a better word for it (I said not intense, but definitely scary).

If 5DAS were a movie, who would be the actors?

There was a thread about that long, long ago in the forum, I just don't remember where. Check the older threads and if you find it, revive it! biggrin.gif

I'm pretty sure you've all seen my drawing of the Tall Man, but here it is because I'm an attention whore.

^ I was working on this picture of the Tall Man a while back. Then I realized I hated it, because it sucked. So I never finished it.

Its not true. Its really cool. Fix the blood and the trembling, put some background and let us see the result.

Blood. More of it. And use more shadows. A white background ain't a good starting point for this character. Let him stand in a dark corner et voilá... and maybe his head needs some resizing, to reduce the little comic-effect.

Alright, fine...

I'll let you in on a secret, though. I haven't the slightest idea how to draw blood. As a constant sufferer of nosebleeds, you'd think I'd be familiar with it, but I haven't the foggiest, which is possibly why I gave up in disgust.
