Hello everyone, I'm new here to the forum and I hope I'm posting in the right place, after reading through Trilby's bio, I've came up with an actor that'd sort've fit his role, hes even the same height according to IMDB, 6'4"

in case pics don't work Trilby

I take it that you dont get "men behaving badly" in the USA because Niel Morrisey would definitly not make a good Trilby. Allthough he might look the part, i really doubt that he could re-create Trilby's character.

Personally I think Paris Hilton would make a great trilby.

You know, my best friend in 7th grade would be a great trilby, he even makes his own witty sarcastic comments when hes talking to me... and for some reason to me alone...

You can't really cast Trilby until you know about all the massive amounts of characterisation I've given him in my private canon. I've tried writing a novel of his backstory, but I keep slowing down on it. Anyway, long story short, Trilby puts on the facade of a suave debonaire thief when inwardly he's a complete mental fuckup whose thieving tendencies come more from being neurotic than any sort of principles or monetary goals.

Also, he doesn't look like someone who could be a gentleman thief, or at least that's what he thinks when he looks in the mirror. He's neither sharply ugly nor devilishly handsome - he's just a guy you wouldn't look twice at. He only really started taking the idea seriously when he saw himself in the mirror wearing the full thief outfit and mask that covers his whole face.

My personal idea for Trilby's casting is Richard Roxburgh, who combines average looks with the slight hint of being ever so slightly insane.
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

Darnit, and I was already thinking of hiring Jet Li for this one... well, nevermind.

If Chris and Trilby was a movie... Johnny Depp would be a rather predictable Chris... so I wouldn't choose him. Maybe... Jim Carrey as Chris and a younger Hugh Laurie as Trilby. That would be... an interesting match...

Several problems arise
1: He's in 7th grade
2: He probably couldn't act
3: If he COULD act, he probably would be up staged by a pinapple, the most dramatic fruit.
4: Not an actor
