Dwayne Hicks of course. Isn't it, like, obvious ? Kyle Reese is not that bad either smile.gif

To be honest, I always thought Hicks was a carbon copy of Reese.

Only provided it does not end up like Star Trek - Voyager... wink.gif

I'm sure you would never let that happen. You'd get to choose your crew for the most part so that would help, I'm sure.

Captain James T. Kirk.... of all nice characters I got the guy who chases anything in a (mini) skirt...Yick!

What's so bad about Kirk? Compared to the other captains he's Godzilla to Japan.

(and no, Picard is not Ultraman)

Should I be happy?

That's Prince Humperdinck. If they're basing it only on the movies, it's not too bad, but still not desired. If they're basing it on the book, no one would ever want to go near you again, because you'd be liable to randomly break people's necks for sport or torture your populous. Did I mention you'd be about 300 pounds too? All of it muscly fat?

Picard totally beats Kirk in every way possible, except in hair amount.

Dorothy - you got Leia!!! * jealous*

I basically hate Kirk for his skirt-chasing factor. He would fall for anything with a bit of progesteron (or is it estrogen??). Picard being chased by various women instead is so much cooler. Also Picard is better looking (let's face it, Kirk has always been a bit chubby, and definitely has been eating too many cheeseburgers on his retirement vide Star Trek - Generations)

Edit: also Picard is much more "cerebral" captain - Kirk is much more "hot-headed" and less reasoning.

There's just something far more classic and watchable about Kirks incompetant command. Sure, every single green chick in an unlikely outfit fell in love with him straight away (but lets face facts here, their other choices were Deforest or Nimroy), but when it came down to the crunch, Kirk kicked more arse and didn't allow children on the bridge (accept in 'and the children shall lead).

In the event of an alien invasion, Kirk would have battered the alien emporer in a battle to the death before Picard had even gotten off the holo-deck.

You don't? Somehow, it makes me feel better - it means that you need not know each and every English-speaking cult TV series to be cool. Because I guess I am the only one here who knows absolutely nothing about Futurama, except that Barend is in it.

Still, I prefer Picard - for me it is like a choice of "mind over matter".
Upon leaving holodeck Picard would order a series of subtle and brilliant tactic manouvres which would minimise casulaties (quite severe in Kirk's case) and win the battle anyway ...

Speaking of futurama, and going off topic horribly, rumours exist to suggest it may be returning to our screens...

How many different fantasy/sci-fi characters do you think have been plugged into that system?

I was hoping to get Maciste.
