You would...

Actually, it sounds like a good idea. It would contain the spam, and any spammy topics could be moved there.

But then post counts would become meaningless, wouldn't they?
"YOU'RE MISSING A PERIOD. YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY, DON'T YOU? YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY THAT YOU FUCK WITH GRAMMAR? WELL, FUCK YOU AND FUCK YOUR MISSING PERIOD! I HOPE IT MEANS YOUR SLUTTY, NON-PUNCTUATED WAYS HAVE GOTTEN YOU TEEN-PREGNANT!"

The sub-forum you are intending for spam;
Was it just intended to post spam messages?
Or updates of names and IP blocklists to spam sites.

I like both, showing spam messages and being able to do something about it. Some time ago, I found a lot of spam originated from advert scripts and the use of cookies. Maybe it would be a good idea to include block lists to adverts too?

Unless I got the wrong understanding on what you intended.

How would this sound for a name or campaign "Can spam, Won't span"?
Can spam but won't span.

Edit:

Well on the other hand, people can learn to protect themselves using proxy servers. On the downside, the Chef may not get paid as for the advert I do not see ontop...

I like that, "Chefelf Users Need The Spam-forum" a place where you "can spam", but we won't span.

Not that I oppose every advert I see; I only take action on the ones that oppose me:

Flashy
Animations
Bright colours
Search scripts to cookies
Installation scripts
Sites that put too much of priority on loading adverts rather than the content.
Adverts hosted by remote sites.

I have nothing against non script, non moving adverts and text.

One reason why aggressive advertising is done by other companies, is that they take all responsibility as for finding professional ways to invade your privacy legally, and through email. Until now I hear that local companies can be sued £300 for spam.

So I'd say this is a good opportunity to make them famous here.
Also to enclose lists of course.

"It is not that they are unwanted, they are just slowly digging a grave for themselves" by the influence of their own actions.

Perhaps for a seperate stand alone "spam" counter in that thread just as clue to how much spam is received.
