I think you're supposed to climb down the ledge at the corner that is visible.

w00, finally finished the triloligy, still need to get the secret ending, but meh... Either way, very fun game, beat it roughly easily. The only thing I want to know, is how come we never actually get to see 1108? He was a part of the story, being one they had high hopes for(I believe), but he never got the vaccine in time. I wish at least we got to see him. And the other thing is, what in the heck were those giant white balls? Just like your mind messing with you or something? Cuz appearntly no one else saw them, so must be symbollicy fighting Dr. Spectacles( :Por fine, Westburys ) control over you or something?

The double barrel circles were just a recurring pattern Yahtz felt like throwing in there (then hammering it home like his forumites with a really bad joke, only it would have been damn clever if we didn't know about it), and in context I think they were just hallucinations. Because everyone sees giant white balls appearing from the walls when they're hallucinating.

*drops a tab of acid*

Ahhh... yeah, gotcha.

And really, we don't need to see 1108, do we now? OhmigodmonkeysmonkeysmonkeyscomingthroughthewallsAARGH!

Anybody got a save game right at the end somewhere with the gold ticket in hand? I have a save very early on in episode 3 with it, but I just don't have the fucking patience right now to do it when I can't even remember what I'm doing anymore, having not played the game in a few months.

If so, email it to me, hidingbehind@gmail.com

I'd appreciate it.
I'm just here to point out your shortcomings and stupidity.

Yes, I too would like to praise this game. Flashback's got nothing on this game for sure. Flashback had an interesting story, but it is nothing compared to 1213.

Another fine freebie from God Yahtzee.

If only I had the patience to kill that damned guy/beast/zombie/something in the elevator in episode one...
Hey, by the way, how DO you kill that thing in the elevator?
"Once upon a time, musta been 'round October, few years back, in one o' dose TOP SECRET LAB-MOTORIES de gubbnint keep stashed away underneath Virginia, an EVIL PRINCE, occasion'ly employed as a part-time THEATRICAL CRITICIZER set to woikin' on a plot fo de systematic GENOCIDICAL REMOVE'LANCE of all unwanted highly-rhythmic individj'lls an' sissy-boys!" Quoting other forumers in your signature seems to be the latest craze around here...

Well, it has two attack patterns, one is horizontal, one is diagonal, and you can anticipate which one it's starting to use when it curls itself up. The best tactic is to stay on the same level hanging on a platform, pull yourself up when it uses the horizontal attack, and if it starts shooting out spikes diagonally, that's when you hop down, turn around and start bursting bullets. Repeat many times.

It's like a meditative exercise. You just have relax and be one with the tiny corner pixel that predicts which way he's gonna strike.

I'm stuck in episode two looking for the maintenance room. I've toggled the switch that allows access, but I can't seem to find the enterance anywhere.

I just finished Episode 3 for the second time, to see the second ending, and I realised: There are at least two things to be unlocked, one way or another, in it, that I didn't get either time. Are they just red herrings, or are they real?

In case I managed to miss this question being asked before, then I'll make an observation (that I hope hasn't been made before). In a fairly "easy" manner the game makes you feel quite a bit of sympathy for the guards, employees, etc. Especially once the ending is revealed. At least, that's how I experienced it.

Got off my arse and finished 2 and 3 today. Excellent ending(s), but as is usually the case with Yahtzee rather reminscent of other works. If you've read a lot of the stuff on FRM you'll know what I'm talking about.

For instance, you may or may not have noticed that the game's logo - two circles side by side - is the game's recurring visual motif. As well as the face of the silhouetted man, they appear a few times in the backgrounds. The laundry room / gymnasium has quite a few, like the washing machines, and the two basketball hoops. There's also a TV screen bisected straight down the middle by a trickle of blood, which sort of evokes two glowing lights.

First ever post, and I quote a 10 month old post... mark me as n00b now...
Anyway, yeah, I noticed that. It reminded of The Fifth Element, where for like most of the movie their is some form of ellipse in the centre. All that symbolism and imbedded messages really brings a new depth to games. I also really enjoy your writing style and it flourishes in this game. You just know this is a Yahtzee game. Good work.
