Episode 3's up. In this episode, you finally get to see the bespectacled man's face. Woo!
As I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I realised that it could do with a lick of paint.

My keyboard picks a fine time stop working. You can't play the game with the Windows On-Screen Keyboard, can you?
I'm hungry.

I doubt it.

You may notice that, throughout all three chapters, there have been clipping issues with enemies apparently hurting you when you're close but not touching. The reason for this is because the AreThingsColliding function in AGS, which I used to check for damage, doesn't take transparent pixels into account, so some of the sprites had pretty big hitboxes around them.

I wanted to raise this issue with Chris Jones but I can't find an email address for him. So I'm posting this here in case someone from the AGS forums reads it.

I'm at what I think is the end of epsiode three, with the floating propane tank shaped thing, which just floats around in one set rectangle. Is there something special to do here, or just keep blasting away?

llamaman: there's three switches, marked by red triangles. Power up one of the energy orbs (you can't control which) by pressing the middle and top switches in that order. Pressing the bottom switch at this point discharges the orb, and will damage the big pod (which I like to call Death Pod Zeta, but that's just me) if it's over the orb or it touches it while discharging. Six hits and you're done.

Yahtzee: I joined this forum with the express purpose of saying that I've just finished all three games, and they are bloody brilliant. The gameplay was challenging but fun. The endings of Part 3 were beautiful. You truly are a master of game stories, and anyone who ever spoils any of your games' endings deserves a swift death.

Ah, thanks. I figured the vaguely ovary shaped machine in the background did something, but couldn't figure it out. Also, Excellent ending. Both endings. The first is a cool twist, and the second it equally awesome, for a different reason. I also like the little picture on the score screen on the alternate ending. Not to mention the whole "let's make a prince of persia thing in an adventure game maker." Quite original, and awesome, yahtzee.

Hmm...I'm getting stuck in the tram at the start. What am I meant to do there?

EDIT: Never mind, I missed the hole in the roof.

RE-EDIT: Grr! Last boss is pissing me off SO much. Fine until the drone appears at the bottom, then the dodgy collision detection on climbing up kills me every time. Help!

I can say nothing but practice makes perfect. The amount of times I died because 1213 missed the platform by a pixel was ridiculously high, but on my second playthrough it was a breeze.

The first ending was good, but the extra ending was brilliant. All in all, very well done.

You did notice that 1213 was sick and delirious, right? Well, if not, then read the first lines of Episode 3.

You did notice that it was mentioned how they decreased the lifespan of the clones by using a certain method, right? Well, if not, then go and read the memos again.

Hah, yes, quite wonderful it is. Although I do find it disturbing how ending number two seemed to make more sense than the first one. laugh.gif Awesome.

Hello, just registered to say 1213 is very good indeed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw them as death ovaries/fallopean tubes as well.

Came across a slight bug though - you can walk out of the final boss room the way you came in and fall off the world!

I never thought it would be possible for two endings to be so utterly polar opposite in tone. The first one had me near to tears, the second one had me on the floor laughing.

An excellent little epic, Yahtzee. Well done!

By the way, does this fit into the main continuity? I've noticed with pretty much all of the other games they can fit into one main timeline. Is this a completly different 'universe', or does this take place in the same canon as YTOTW, 5-7 days et al?

I especially liked how the captor seems reletively calm until you actually see him in person. And everything past that point in time was excellent storytelling as well.

As for the game as a whole... Probably your best yet, Yahtzee. The gameplay, story and atmosphere were really something else. I also like the apparent inspiration you've taken from Silent Hill, including but maybe not limited to:

-Background symbolism
-The destruction of reality in episode 2
-The joke ending
