Hi was just wondering what people thought about a remake ? I tink it would be graet if they made this film nowa days with modern effects cos i watched this film last night for the first time and i laughed the eefects were so cheesy and the acting was crap

anyway hers who i want to see in the remake =


luke skywaker = orlado bloom

princes lae = kira nightly

han solo = brad pitt

darth vader = the rock " he rocks !!! "

obi one kenoby = liam neeson


theres my ultimat cast what do you think ?

and i think that it should be made by peter jackson or him who made that avp ( i loved that film thogh aliens would beat predators any day )

I think if the lad takes the recommended daily allowance of mind-altering meds the school psychiatrist recommended, he'd see what he's been wishing for, and much, much more.....

On a different topic, I'd really be willing to shell out more cash yet again for a DVD reboxing of the OT if they had Christopher Walken's Han Solo audition reel tacked on to it. I hope someone out there one day manages to add a CGI Walken to the OT when the technology is more readily available, kinda like The Phantom Edit.

He could do it like Patrick Stewart did A Christmas Carol doing all characters with not much of a set, just different voices and lighting. Heck, if he did it that way, the PT might be tolerable.

Sure. And the off-Broadway guy who does the OT in a one-man show (saw a clip on Conan last week. Terrific!) could redo the PT as well.

This kid seems to forget that we have technology now to spruce up this movie, as Lucas has mindlessly shown. The only thing that makes the movie look dated is that everyone in the Yavin base and the Death Star have killer sideburns! But I can put up with that, because its a quality movie.

What's everyone's deep obsession with Kiara Knightly? She isn't as hot as Natalie Portman and she sure as hell can't act all that good.
