I'm watching that movie I never had an interest in before, Jingle all the way.
Stupid title. Anyway, a young Jake Lloyd is in it. There was a funny scene where Arnold S. sees the alcoholic mailman next to him as his first or second grade son, swigging on the hard stuff, uniform and hat askew and, awwww wub.gif

ABC Family channel shows 25 days of this stuff, and it brings a lot of the obscure stuff to the forefront. Earlier was The Life and Times of Santa Claus, based on the Frank Baum tale. Well of course it is.
There was another with Angela Lansbury voicing a nun in The First Christmas Snow, or something like that. Both of the prior being in the Rankin•Bass animatic style, and New to me. But of course, A Christmas Story was once fresh as well.

Then there's the SW HS, but that's more of a Thanksgiving kind of thing. "Lexmas" a Smallville ep last week was pretty good. Charlie Brown was on earlier tonight too. I even watched Rudolph this year.
It's a Wonderful Life was great last weekend.

Does anyone have some favorite Holiday Specials they'd like to comment on? I might pop in the Very Brady Christmas in a little while....
