I'd be Super Energy Man withe the ability to change one kind of energy to another. So, like, he could scream and no sound would come out, but fire would, and if he fell off a building he could change some of his kinetic energy to potential energy and float gently down...

And of course it would help if he were super-strong or had a fireproof mouth or something.

I would want to change into any animal, or be super fast.

I always wanted the phasing ability, a la Shadow Cat (or kitty pride, if you perfer). Just like typing in noclip in the consol of life, I would just walk in between walls at school just to freak everybody out and I never have to remember my keys again.

If you're looking for actual heroic analogy I would be Beast. Smart as a whip and hairy enough to rival Robin Williams.

Though I would always love to be Nick Fury, James Bond of the Marval World.

I would want to have pyrokinesis. And be able to turn invisible. ph34r.gif
Head Gunner for the Royal Sloop Crimson Steel, Queen of the Dead, Instigator of Chaos and Confusion, Knight of the Grand Recursive Order of the Lambda Calculus, and also The Non.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....

That is an interesting combo. But I would be BatMan with the ability to make an explosion anywhere out of anything by using reactive elements inside the object or air.

I would be Super Sonic, percussionist to the world.

Giving my life for the cause of course, I would be a sensitive and dynamic percussionist on call, ready to Fly anywhere on the globe (seriously. I can fly) to provide rhythmic underpinnings wherever the need was greatest (as long as it was within my political beliefs). My playing talents would be infinitely heightened (like they need it) tongue.gif and I would be given the abilities of mallet instrument playing that I enjoy today, in my dreams.

YOU'RE A PERCUSSIONIST???

That rocks my world. That you would say you'd like to be a kickass "percussionist" as opposed to "drummer," and that you even KNOW the term "mallet instrument"...

You've made my night!

What kind of experience you got?

Thanks Spoon Poetic. Janey's one too, I believe.
I've been piddling on my xylo (3+ Octave, folds for mobility) for a few years now and need to get serious about taking lessons. I can arpeggiate....

I play a stand up "cocktail" kit with lots of latin drums and Paiste cymbals. I've been playing as guest percussionist to numerous praise bands within my community for the past 15 years or so; in a band now. Played in wind ensemble in college, and had one year of band before that. That's when someone opened my mind. "You're not just a drummer. If you can play a drum AND a triangle, You're a Percussionist."

How about yourself? I don't suppose you're my Arch-enemy?

Arch-enemy? Well I would certainly hope two percussionists wouldn't be pitted against each other... We can be the Dynamic Duo (hahaha, get it?!?) of Percussion! ... dry.gif Just joshing.

I've been into percussion just about, oh, all of my life. Drumline (was captain of my high school line), symphonic band, and the like. I absolutely adore mallet instruments (though I admit, I, like most percussionists lucky enough to march on the line, prefer marching percussion to anything). You should definitely at least get a self-instructing book, if not lessons. I'll be taking lessons on 4-mallet marimba next semester, and I can't wait. biggrin.gif

That makes no sense. I mean, I've done worse ((see Chyld's sig)) but it must be called to your attention, I believe.
