sure everybody noticed that, i mean, rob blanc, 7 days a sceptic and "Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment" which is btw a cheap copy of Freelancer and other space games..

The ONLY game that i REALLY enjoyed was 5 Days A Stranger, great plot , great music, great characters and awesome nightmares

tell u what yahtzee, stay away from space-based games for a while

that's all, you may not consider this topic too, it's ok by me
um just already fed up with space games...
bye

If you're gonna criticize Yahtzee, do so politely. Also, if you ask me, there is NOTHING wrong with space games. If he likes making the space games, I say he go for it. Frankly, if you ask me, it seems that Mr. Croshaw doesn't do this because he feels obligated to make a good game, though he does nonetheless. He isn't a game company. He doesn't make polls (on this subject, anyway), he doesn't go out asking 'what sort of game do YOU want?'. And, most importantly he doesn't make a profit Whilst I wholeheartedly approve of his games, if he feels that making games is drudgery, a job that he must do without wanting, he should simply take the site down, take the games off, leaving nought but memories and those who downloaded the games.

This post has been brought to you by Otal, in connection with the "Angry post of the month" association. All those words are making my head hurt.

I didn't mean to be unpolite or something, i was just expressing my opinion HONESTLY!
there's nothing wrong with space games and i really appreciate yahtzee for all those great games he made...

frankly he's ultimate dialogue writer and point-and-click game maker, imho
but i was kinda grabbing yahtzee's attention to the fact that almost all of his games are space-based
maybe he should make something like 5 days a stranger, i mean something on the 3rd rock from the sun..
it was and still a master piece

"If you're gonna criticize Yahtzee"
um not gunna do that, i'd only criticize his last game, Adventures in the Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment

it's almost a copy of "Freelancer", except the fights like "Smuggler"

Mr. Croshaw, if you find any of this topic's content offensive or unpolite i apologize
I was just expressing my opinion honestly, sry

It is possible that my computer is broken. I may not be seeing an edited post. But as far as I can say, your first quote states that you only liked one of his games. However, I tend to have a poor way of interpreting things. It only seems that you were criticizing the rest of his games. Again, I most humbly apologise.

Not quite, it lacks the urgency of such titles in favour of sub-game innovation and character development.

Of course in it's attempts to emulate the Japanese style of gaming it falls short on content. In the same way as posideon 12, it needs a bit more attention; A few extra random landing locations, some other subgames, or even a few more random events would raise the 'exploration' bar somewhat and deepen the gameplay.

But as an AGS title, it's still a hell of an achievement.

Seriously, calm the fuck down, if my sig is offending anyone, then its offending Micro-Soft and the Nazis, I dislike the Nazis like everyone else, so I make fun of them, like everyone else.
