I thought it was someone who eats a lot of nuts, but referred to as a crazy person.
Anyway, for over populated countries that manufacturers equipment for competition as a living, why should they care for the environment when they rely on mass producing of oil, plastics products and have bigger problems inside to deal with.
I know some regulations are put in place to help reduce the waste. From what I read not only are there human rights issues but some companies actually break regulations of the country it is exporting the goods to make the product as cheap as possible. When problems are discovered in large batches due to design faults, on product recalls I question if the faults are repaired and resold to cut down on pollution, or the affected products are reshaped to something else which pollutes more?
