Anyone excited about the new releases? A friend of mine is in the Johnny Cash movie, with lines even.
The Kong preview on tv the other night looked really good, for a 5 minute scene, anyway. The Narnia movie appears av worthy.
Anyone excited? I guess Harry Potter is doing well.

Grrr... I don't trust that new Narnia movie. Smushed books together, Lucy was cuter in the other one...
Plus, the old Narnia movies ARE the books, word for word even if they have to take eight hours to do it in.
No, that was an estimate for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, not the whole series of movies.

On the other hand, I'm looking forward to it. I haven't gotten to see the older versions, and I'v read about half of the series (way out of order).
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.
"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto
Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

And then there is apparantly a movie about evil grass and evil environment-protecting communists or something with rebel people.
You know, the one where the bad guys said things like,
"It's a beautiful planet, and it is worth preserving at any cost,"
and "It's a war. People on both sides die."

HP was good. I'm going to see that little animated fluffy animal movie because William Shatner's a voice actor in it. I want to see if he makes a good opossum.
Aeon: 1,000,000,000 years. A Latin word meaning forever.
Flux: 1) A flow or flowing 2)A continued flow, a flood
In Physics:
In the fields of heat transport and mass transport (fluid dynamics, hydrogeology, chemical engineering), flux is defined as the amount of a given quantity that flows through a unit area per unit time. Flux in this definition is a vector.
In the field of electromagnetism, flux is usually the integral of a vector quantity over a finite surface. The result of this integration is a scalar quantity (Lorrain and Corson, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, 1962). The magnetic flux is thus the integral of the magnetic vector field over a surface, and the electric flux is defined similarly. Using this definition, the flux of the Poynting vector over a specified surface is the rate at which electromagnetic energy flows through that surface.
Medical: The discharge of large quantities of liquid from the body, especially the discharge of watery feces from the intestines.
So, since I haven't watched the movie, I still have no idea what the title means. Eons tend to flow on their own, in my experience. Oh, well. It was worth a shot.
What really confused me is that the bad guys made sense and the rebels sounded like a bunch of idiots. "We seem to be living in a perfect society" That's a big clue right there that you ARE living in pretty close to a perfect society. I know a few people who would kill to live somewhere like that.
"People disappear and are never seen again" Well, no society works unless you get rid of the troublemakers. I don't quite understand who would want to make trouble, anyway.
"It's a war. People on both sides die." You can't really argue with that.
"It's a beautiful planet, and it is worth preserving at any cost."
Sounds good to me. As far as I can tell, the rebels don't have much of a case, at least in the previews. Even on a personal level, I don't trust them. I get the impression that on their breaks they go shoe shopping and giggle with eachother.
