I could make a comment about Native Americans, but really, that's like complaining about Christmas and Jesus these days. So I'll make do with "Have a good one, my crazy American and Canadian compatriots!"

We thank thee Lord, for making the turkey so stupid and flightless, otherwise it would have been a real bugger to kill and eat it. We also give thanks for smallpox, for without it our ancestors could not have raped the indians of their land and resources so easily. God bless america!

Every year, I seem to get the same quote stuck in my head at least once (but normally several dozen times) on Thanksgiving. Then I have to say it outloud and hope somebody laughs.

"To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie."

Thanksgiving was good. Watched some football, poor ol' Detroit didn't have a chance. Had a deep discustion about the great pussification of America and ate Thanksgiving Lunch. A total of 15 family members in one house is actually quite fun.

I visited my grandparents on both sides of the family (Where Thanksgiving meals were held). My brother only went to my mom's parents because he unreasonably feared my driving ability in bad weather. The rest of my family went to Maine to stay at my stepmother's brother's home for several days. A lot of people on my father's side of the family couldn't make it, and I barely got there with some time to visit. My girlfriend went to her father's for Thanksgiving and I didn't get to see her till yesterday. This year just wasn't as happy as I would have liked it to be.

Well I hope all of you had a good Holiday.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

My brothers and sister-in-law came by to visit, but that's pretty much all the family that ever shows up for these occasions since everyone else lives in different states. Everything was rather pleasant, but due to the utensil choice I spent the rest of the night in an obsessive compulsive frenzy polishing every brass and silver object I could lay hands on.

My mom couldn't cook this Thanksgiving, and the only thing my dad can cook is stirfry, so we bought our Thanksgiving meal. I made a couple of pies, though. It would have been one, except for the fact that our apple peeler, corer and slicer all in one is such a very cool device.

I didn't like the cranberry sauce, though. It's just not the same if it doesn't have lines on it from the can...
