Okay, the forums should be back and operational (though the main page still needs a little work.

I'll be making minor changes over the next few days.

Sorry about the downtime. Please report any errors, bugs, etc. here and I'll try to address them as I can.

Regards,
Chefelf

W00t!

I have two things to report:

- The Options button on the right upper corner of a thread (in the same line as the topic title) is not displayed correctly. I tried on IE and FireFox. On FireFox, I get a list with no background, which causes that the characters are not easy to read. It seems to appear with no format, too. And on IE, I get the list as I think it was meant to appear, but it shows up too thin, with only one word per line. I didn't try how the links work, though.

- (I hope this one's not too picky) The Clickable Smilies area in the page where I'm writing right now does not fit in the area where (I think) they are supposed to appear, and thus showing a nav bar practically for nothing (just a handfull of pixel columns don't fit). Maybe putting the smilies less spaced one from the next could avoid this.

I'm on 1024x768.

Other than those two things, so far so good. The forums look great. Good work Chef.

PS: Maybe my English was not good enough in those explanations... tell me if I'm not being clear enough.

I logged in before the forums went down. Didn't log off. When they came back up I was still logged in.

Hmmm...that's so interesting.

Ok, I just wanted to say that I love the quick edit. That's all.

Yeah, Coco's right. The smileys are in a scrollable frame. I hate frames. angry.gif tongue.gif

And, as you can see, the forum icons have been reset and the title text (when you're in the thread) is black and not white.

Thank God its back! I haven't been able to get on for almost a week for some reason. I got so anxious I started searching for people's e-mail adresses on other sites. Now what I sent will just be trivial, oh well.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Coco,

Good catches. I'm going to try working on both of them... though I'm not exactly sure where to start. Give me a little time and I'll see if I can get them fixed. smile.gif

The scrollbar is really stupid and annoying.

No problem. Catching bugs is my job.

By the way, just so you know, the Options button thing on FireFox is happening on the Edit Button (when you want to edit one of your posts), too.

Hmmm. That must be a simple skinning issue moving to the new version. I'll just have to figure out which element of the skin controls that and see if I can fix it. smile.gif

I must confess, they're all pretty minor at this point. A lot of them are actually back end changes which, I must say, I'm pretty impressed with at this point. A lot smoother interface.

Oh, Coco, that javascript error should be set now with the popup menus. smile.gif

Random question Nate; Why do some names now appear in bold in the 'who's online' list, and others appear normally?

Are we marked for termination or something?

Is the 'find all posts by this user' feature gone for good? I kinda liked it.
