In other words, disputing a point based on the assumption that your opponent is on drugs is not reasoning.

And Jejef, you need to work on your skills in arguing with a dictionary, and it seems a thesarus as well.

I seriously suggest putting a bullet into your dictionary, because it either has only one definition or you are only putting down the one that solely supports yourself. Looking at my dictionary, I get two paragraph sized (for a dictionary anyways) definitions of legitimate. One is an adjective, the other a verb. In all fairness I shall look it up online to see if I can find any noun versions of the word. I mean, why would you ever use "legitimate reason(s)" in a sentence?

Total is everything included
Final is the end
Unconditional is something that has no condtitions
Complete is finished

Oh sure, i could type out the whole definitions for each word, but I really can't be bothered. It would be a pain in the ass. Still, It can be seen that although these wrds may be synonyms, they do not mean the same thing.

Oh and, a "lesson in futility" is such a sad cop-out. It would only be futile because you couldn't actually accomplish showing me the error of my ways, or just couln't argue back very soundly at all.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

it's not a very good dictionary if doesn't already have a 'bullet' in it.

Leave an 'e' out of Duschebeutel and it's perfect. We don't like to say such obnoxiously long words with vocals in the middle that would make it sound awkward. Duschbeutel is just fine. And hilarious. An ordinary German probably wouldn't know whether he should get angry or start laughing then... I guess it'll all end up in a bar with one or twenty beers anyway...

Let's look at your definitions, here:

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I'm totally sick of arguing about this.
Everything included - meaning that's it. No more. Final. The end.

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Final is the end

I'm finally sick of arguing about this.
This is the end of me arguing this point. I'm done. The end.

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Unconditional is something that has no condtitions

I'm unconditionally sick of arguing about this.
Under no conditions will I argue this point any longer because I'm completely done.

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Complete is finished

I'm completely sick of arguing about this.
What's done is done... it is finished.

In other words, I am 'absolutely' tired of explaining this.

I haven't just looked at one dictionary. I've looked at three different dictionaries. They all give these exact definitions. I have a thesaurus, but I am not using it. I'm not trying to deal with synonyms and that's what a thesaurus is for.

If all three dictionaries I'm using give me the same results as everyone elses', why is it hard to comprehend that all of these different synonyms mean the same exact thing? As in a "radical" claim that 'absolute' means all of these words, but these different words mean the same singular word. Yes, I am being radical because I'm being thorough and complete with my research. I'm even taking into account every other definition being thrown at me... they all have the exact same definition. They are synonymous with the word absolute.

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Right... you can't be bothered when trying to defend your argument. It must be an absolute pain in the ass. No... synonyms couldn't possibly mean the same thing...

You should find this interesting, then:

synonym n. word which means the same thing as another word.

So, logically... if synonyms mean the same thing as another word, wouldn't that mean all of these definitions are one and the same?

QUOTE (Zatoichi @ Mar 9 2006, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

So, given the fact that I'm using a variety of definitions out of several English dictionaries, that must make my argument very unsound, or at least that's what I'm gathering from you. It's a lesson in futility to me because I'm arguing against a lack of reasoning. There is no argument against my point other than the statements made that I must be on drugs. Regardless of that person being sarcastic or not, would that be considered a legitimate argument? If it's not an argument, it's a contradiction. Do you understand where I'm coming from? I hope so, because I really don't want to explain the difference.

I agree that Padme's death should have been explained more thorough, but I think it was because she loved Anakin so much that when he turned to the dark side, she decided through her own will that she had nothing left to live for

Yes... that is why she tell's ObiWan "there is still good in him", 2 minutes later pff dead because she decided through her own will that she had nothing left to live for

I still prefer the always classic It was the force

What is the most significant reason you hate the PT?

The alterations of the OT DVD edition to "blend" with the mess that is the PT.

see why are all these people commiting suicide with messy slit wrists, face stuffed with pills, blue face hanging, sidewalk splatterinmgs, etc..

when all thay have to do is die of loosing the will to live...

i mean star wars has always pushed the boundaries of fantasy, but the prequels came along and treid to drive it into sci-fi, and someof the elements; "are you an angel", the lava planet, underwater river in the core of the planet, and willing ones self to die, is all of the realm of faerie tales...

Wasn’t it always described as a Fairy Tale In Space?

Anyway, I hate that line of dialogue from Padme. Why give up the ghost (an idea I’m fine with btw) if she still thought Anakin could be redeemed?

Yeah, don’t you need some sort of molten core in order to create an electromagnetic field that will help you keep your atmosphere good and oxygeny.
