Korriban is one of the coolest planets...as for worst I maybe think that Nar Shadaa (KOTOR 2) was a terrible planet. All it was was a big city with a bunch of slum....

And what was Coruscant exactly. One big city, a good portion of it was slums. Especially the further down you got.

Also, Kurgan, I bet he could have even used planets that recieved passing mention in the OT. Some examples are Sullust, Kessel, Alderan (more heavily anyways), Dantooine, etc.

Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Yah but Nar Shadaa was worse, coruscant actually had some important things there. Nar Shadaa was just a place where refugies and thugs and what have you could go and hide....and there was the Goto guy.....I hated him and his stupid droid.

As did I.

From reading EU stuff, I always thought that Nar Shadda was not so completely like that, but I can't remember.

I think they just called it the Unknown World. That was a pretty good place though.

I thought the overall story going on with Onderon and Dxun was pretty cool though. The reason why the ending was bad in the second one, was because they got rushed to finish it and a lot of good work got thrown out the door.

True enough. People were also upset that he chose to mostly make up new aliens rather than showing us more about the ones we'd already seen. To the point where it's almost like there's only one (or two, for each gender) of each non-human species in the galaxy...

Nar Shaddaa was cool to me because I spent so much time there in the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series of games. wink.gif Basically it was just one big city... emphasizing the negative aspects of big city life... corruption, crime, pollution, congestion, etc.

Coruscant had that side, plus the usual "grand" side of the big city with all the touristy stuff with culture and landmarks, beautiful architecture, government, etc.

Dantooine is the lamest planet; I say this because it doesn't last long, and is more or less defenseless to begin with. Notice how Leia isn't to sad after it is destroyed? I wasn't too sad either. They deserved it.

Leia?

I thought they only found the remains of a base there.

I'm an idiot; was tired I guess.

I meant Alderan. What the hell made me say Dantooine? I meant Alderan.

Alderan.

That's how lame it is, guys. So lame I forgot what its actual name was. Sorries. Lol. Anyway, Leia's homeplanet was Alderan.

Again: Most planets used in the PT had also similar ones already established in the EU. Why not use them?

And why didn't we see Corellia, birthplace Of Han, Lando, and the Millenium Falcon?

BTW, lamest planet: Naboo.
Coolest one: Hoth is really cool (no pun intended)
Sorry, you won't be seeing a smartass sig here. Try with the next poster.
