I highly reccommend that you all watch this. It's an hour long, but its the most interesting film I've seen all year.

http://video.google....320890224991194

Anyone else think some of this stuff is suspicous...? The only problem I have with this is that if the govt. is really behind 9/11, I think that they'd cover their tracks better than this. All it took was one guy to show some huge problems with the official story. All of a sudden this all seems like some huge conspiracy theory and reminds me of Deus Ex.

Edit: If it doesn't show up, refresh the page a few times.

Edit2: I fixed the title because it was ugly and didn't like forum code.

On the one hand, the public is stupid. On the other hand, most people like to think that the government is smart. And on the other hand, it could be easy to play off of both of those concepts and pull off a deliberately sloppy job, so people could say "Bah, no one is that bad at it."

Given the entire neo-con agenda, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if there were a conspiracy behind the terrorist attacks, but at present I feel that the monkey in office just got lucky with an excuse to attack the Middle East.

I'll watch this in two weeks when I'm not on a dialup connection.

I thought this was a debate on how annoying loose change is. 50cent pieces are annoying, as they're so large and heavy. Though 20c coins aren't much better. $2 coins are nice and small, and they're actually worth something.

As for the film, I watched the first five mins, then got bored.

What about pennies? You can't do crap with them until you collect a bunch of them. It's like living in a damned new-school platformer.

The editing is quite poor in places (fair enough though, hes not a professional). The main problem with it is nearly all his evidence relies on eyewitness accounts, which are hopelessly unreliable at the best of times, more so during times of high stress.

Some of it has legs though, using actual footage to demonstrate points was a good idea. I thought from day 1 that there was no way the towers shouldve gone down so easily. Now it looks like explosives were involved?

anyway, in the end the guy struggles to prove his main point. It only seems to loosely connect the government to any misgivings.

tongue.gif I find it humorous that the same guy who can't pronounce words corrrectly enough for the critical media is given credit for pulling off this vast conspiracy.

Bush is a monkey and a dumb idiot. Wait: Bush is a wicked genius, calculating and cruel.

You can't have it both ways people. Oh wait, you're democrats who never propose new solutions, rather you tear down whatever the other guy supports. You're used to having it both ways, my bad.

Interesting video, but he didn't push hard enough. Wasn't as compelling as the FOX moon hoax video.

Who says Bush is behind this? I never thought that he was. If everyone promises not to laugh at me for this... I think it's more likely that there's a fourth party involved who deliberately made it look like it was planned, so they can overthrow the US govt. for whatever reason, Deus Ex-like. Of course, I tend to not believe in all this Illuminati crap, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Despondent: Less hate, my friend. I haven't called Republicans greedy and powerhungry old bastards intent on a steadily increasing income gap and imposing economic Darwinism lately, so it would be nice if you could not bitch out the democrats too. Though a politician is a politician, regardless of his political party.

Really, I think we need to eliminate the two party system in favor of a multiparty one where everyone needs to co-operate or let the country go to ruin. It would be fun for the first month or so, until the entire system collapsed because no-one would give anything up.

Moon hoax: It's fun to shoot down people who cry conspiracy when you know what you're talking about and they don't (for either side of the argument).

All right, Slade, I'll lighten up.

I hadn't noticed any restraint because I hardly frequent this forum, because it/which has been a hotbed of hate in the past. the video did mention Bush, so I felt the need to defend.

As for "loose change," Dems/Reps are just two faces on the same coin, and neither controls the minting, so to speak.

Yes, I was curious that the tower plane had no windows, and yes, I do believe the moon landing was a hoax.

Simple solution: Get rid of them!

All our 1c and 2c pieces were made void when I was about 8, so our lowst denomination is the 5c coin, which is useful 50% of the time.

1p and 2 p made void? So, your prices are all rounded up to the next multiplication of 5? How interesting - I bet that is a huge relief to the economy (I am not sarcastic - those small coins actually cost more than they are worth.)
Some 16 years ago the lowest denomination here was 100. And then they cut cut off four "zeroes" and we got coins again...

There are only two zeroes in 100.

Hmm. Smallest denomination is $100.00 bill. Then they went back to having pennies. That's dividing 10000. Four zeroes.

Come to think of it, there are infinite zeroes in every number.
