Well, I feel this warrants a thread, and I'd like to say I think it's bloody brilliant so far. Couldn't spot any typos/grammar errors either (not that I was looking).

Blah blah blah, fucking ace so far, can't wait for more, keep it up, blah blah blah. You'll hear it time and time again, so I abbreviated. No problem.

A pox upon Yahtzee and his faster than me novel writing. Already 2 chapters up and im only on 3000 words smile.gif . No actually im rather enjoying Fog juice so far, very inventive and humerous. Incidentally im using blogger to post mine on the main page of my blog, which unfortunatly looks extremely untidy and unreadable as large "Blocks" of writing generally do. Does anyone know somewhere i can get some webspace to post up works in progress and then just link to it from my blog?

Cheers

To sum up my thoughts.

If fog juice was a hot women, I'd give her a good root.

A hot WOMAN, a hot WOMAN! Not women, only one of her, see.
Also, I assume that means you would want to frak her. You must be very carefu in the selection of hot women.

Ah, pardon my mistake kind sir. If Fog juice was SEVERAL hot women, I would give THEM a good root. (Good root is australian slang for sex..or a sturdy tree's growth)

As such, each year at the Montreal Comedy Festival, we always see one of the Australian comedians visiting the store 'Root', and coming out with a confused expression on they're face. Or a picture of them in the childrens clothing section, next to a sign that says 'root kids'.

I did say that they did it every year. When you made that comment, it reminded me of when I saw Will doing it last year. I was thinking that I hadn't seen a Montreal Comedy Festival show for awhile. Then by complete chance it happend to be on last night. If you don't believe me, I made the post at 2:52pm, and the show was on at 8:30. Just a happy coincidence.

Back on topic
I'm really enjoying Fog Juice. One thing I've noticed though is that it's very English. I know you've spent the majority of your life there, but I would have thought your time in Australia would have rubbed off a bit. Regardless, I love what you've written so far.

Tumultuous Trevor. Heh.

Tis good to see the return of Articulate Jim. Does this fit into the continuity of 'A search for someting'? If I'd had to guess, I'd say it was a prequal. Or possibly a retelling.

Just out of curiosity, how much planning did you do before Nanowrimo started?

Bugger all. Best way to do it. Keep writing bollocks until a storyline materialises.

Am I the only one who can see clear as day that Yhatzee has just taken Dan Browns "The Da vinci code" and changed the title and and all of the content, then put his name on the cover and handed it over to us? What a cheat! Jolly good show though...

As for mine, due to all of the travelling i've had to do in November and also the jetlag it has kindve died, at first i was only a few days behind but then the gap just grew and now i pretty much have no chance of making the deadline. Unfortunate for me but there is allways next year.
